LOL! Yes I'm new. I only stumbled across h2g2 today and am still coming to terms with the whole concept. I'm very experienced with HTML (since '94/'95) and XML and, as such, didn't find the Guide ML glossary difficult. I only used two or three tags.

Well thank you for such an incredibly helpful reply! I'm not averse to the Science Fiction or Fantasy genres but I'm not fanatical about them. In the case of the latter, I have to pretend to be a fanatic locally because my street was named after JRR Tolkien...or rather his son John Francis who lived on this spot before it became Tolkien Way.

Awesome! My street is named after Horatio (sp?) Nelson.

As long as you don't get the tourists we do. When J.F. Tolkien named the street in '93, everybody called their houses things like Hobbit and Rivendell (etc.). Then the LotR was filmed, we became part of the Birmingham <-> Staffordshire 'Tolkien Trail' and everybody removed their signs and started saying "Tolkien? Who? He? Eh?"

Ha. My house is in a tiny town in America so nobody comes to see South Nelson Avenue.
