well we had rain last night.... must have been the result of me singin'....

it's been sunny on n off here, nowt spectacular.... still not gettin' me legs out tho....

well its dry here, but not warm enough for shorts.

at least i managed to get the front lawn cut

In one week we have had hot summer temps,tornados,rain,snow,sleet,and now normal spring temperatures today.

In the mountains - there have been lots of rock slides blocking roads and the summer forrest fires have started.

Oh I forgot , golf ball size hail too

hi everyone.....it's almost bedtime,and i still have my shorts on..it's lovely and warm!!,.
It makes me wonder what exactly is happening in the world abbi...so many different weather conditions in such a short time.It's scary really!!I hope your weather improves,and ours stays sunny!!xx

weather warm, but not that sunny.... well it won't be now coz it's gone middnight.... ....
my legs are stayin' covered.... don't think they're covered by a government health warning......

i have memories of the past few days... nice dry weather.... and today, two lines of washing out and it pee's down.... bloody typical eh... lol...

hi sheryl.the sun is out again here,but it isn't as warm as it was.Hope the washing dries for you ,i used to hate having it hung all over the place.I think memory lane had gone off my page a couple of days ago!xx

Hi! Do you remember when we were all younger, that summers were really summer, great weather for weeks at a time

and winters were really cold and bitter It seems as though all the seasons have got mixed up these days

I can even remember having my shoes taken from me after my last day at school for the summer break, and never saw them again until it was time to go back

hi all.i can remember wearing black lace up pumps during the school holidays,but then i think i have photos in my uniform with my pumps on as well!!!!I'm sure i had shoes at some point,a,and i can describe the shoes perfectly that i wearing the day my gran died.I wonder why we recall such strange things????I was only six...

i remember having black pumps, but they were the ones with a strip of elastic across the front.
.
it was then considered to be getting bigger, when you progressed to white lace ups. the old fashioned white cotton type, that you used to buy whitening in a tube to clean them. you used to get more on your hands, than on the pump

when i was 11,i baby sat for a couple who lived opposite.the wife was from england,and her hubby ws from india.I will always remember them rushing to go out,and him cleaning his teeth with shoe whitener!!!!talk about dazzling smile!!!!!I wonder what became of the children,i d em to bits!!

my daughter still has those black pumps for school...
i also remember the while lace ups... tennis pumps they used to call then round here... and yes, the messy whitener... lol...

I remember the summers back then,when school finished for the summer,my mom used to let me go without anklesocks,and i had white pumps but more like a sandle,and it seemed to stay lighter at night.fishing for tiddlers in the cut(canal)taking bottle pop and sandwiches....

HELLO EVERYONE i had a loverly birthday back home now so back to stayin in doors the weather was great, hi sal had a nose at the photo you look great a bit like i had imagined you (strange)? would love to have the brains to work out how to put one in let my son sort files out and things i always end up messin things up xd

hello everyone....welcome back doris,nice to hear from you.i only managed to send the pictures cos theyre already in the computer,,and,i have to be honest,it took a few attemptsstill,i did do it,and i did it myself,which is a big step forward for me!!!
talking about drinks san,i was telling the grandchildren about making spanish water yesterday,you'd have thought it sounded like poison,the faces they pulled!!!Come to think of it,i wouldn't thank anyone for it now.The summer holidays were good weren't they,and i still them,it means i get to spend lots of time with the girls!!!
