Pity. I was going to ask you to lend me a few. What will we do now?
Here's a & for you. Hope your classes are going well.

Hiya Emee, must have just missed you last night
I've been away for a week, digging holes and getting drunk.........I mean of course, working hard on an Archaeology excavation. The actual course is finished now til September, but i thought i'd get some practical experience in, and it was great.
Off to sunny Malta on Friday, for a week of relaxing and exploration.
Now come and up next to me, have some and , and tell me all that you've been doing since we last chatted.
*Gazes breathlessly into Emees eyes*
*Realises he looks more like a trapped-wind sufferer than a smouldering love-god.........and decides it's time to act his age*
Good evening

Funny you should mention that... 2 nights of take the bottle and then thrash around for a couple of hours and keep the parents awake... going to move her to another room.

You'll find it's for the best if you do 'site' her elsewhere, at least you'll get some shuteye
They're tricky little devils too, if they get into a routine of waking and annoying i find it lasts well into their teens
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Mar 21, 2005
Into their teens!! I'm not sure I signed up for that.
We put her in another room and that seems to be working fairly well. It's just taking some getting used to. She's teething and that doesn't help anything. She's ended up sleeping with us more than I'd like. I don't want her to get used to that and expect to sleep with us all the time. That's something I swore we'd never do, but one night a few month ago it seemed to be the only thing that would get her to quit crying. It's been a downward spiral ever since.

I know what you mean, we intended on being well disciplined and just leave them to . But it tears at the strings too much.
What we did find worked, but was a bit tiring to start with, was sitting in their room till they dropped off again. It took about a week, but once they knew we were there they were in a few minutes
Teething is a night mare tho.......all that dribble Youngest airscotia looked like a bulldog chewing a tennis shoe most of his teething time bless him
Hope all else is going well, planning on a return to work yet?
Good evening

Possibly. The test I took at home says no dice, but I'm not so sure. I'm seeing the on Wednesday to find out. Could just be stress causing me all these wonderful issues.

Wow, well good luck either way.
Hope you're all keeping well. Did peanut settle down to a sleeping routine ? Back at w**k yet?
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Oct 6, 2005
Back to w*rk now for ages, unfortunately. Really need to find a job closer to home. She settled into a decent sleep pattern but then started cutting molars. So, she's waking up once or twice a night again. I'm hoping it's a phase that passes quickly. How about you? Haven't 'seen' you online for a while. Is the archeology progressing?
Good evening

Been busy all summer with various things. Ferrying 3 kids around to cricket, football, and parties mainly, at least a real chauffer gets a nice hat, i didn't even get a thanks. Bless'em
Archaeology is progressing nicely, i got a very good mark in my final exam, so i'm hoping to start a degree course next year.
I take it you're still commuting vast distances to work then?
Good evening

40-ish miles one way. It wasn't so bad before fuel costs jumped so much. Now a large chunk of the goes to the oil companies. Ironically enough, one of the oil companies has a large set of offices where I live and are moving some jobs there in November, so I'm going to see if I can w*rk for 'the man'. If you can't beat 'em...

See if they'll pay you in barrels instead of $'s. Alternatively you could drill for oil on the farm, it'd be a nice hobby for hubby.
Fuel prices Arrrrrrrghhhhh. £1 a litre here nearly.
