Emee, out from under the rock Posted Sep 22, 2003
There's no way I'd take my car. I've driven a standard transmission vehicle in the mountains before during summer. Not something I'd care to repeat. Plus, not enough room. The guys are 6'1" and 6'3". And to top it off, it only has 4 inches of ground clearance. There's no way we'd get home until next June if it snowed while we were there.
I've only been once before. I crashed a lot.

You'd do well fitting ski's to the beetle . Still, at least if you got stuck you'd have some big lads to push you out
.
Finding time is at a bit of a premium at the moment Emee, i haven't even been on here for 3 days............now that's not like me at all is it?
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Sep 30, 2003
thinking about my Beetle skiing down the hillside...
I'm the same way. Work access is being tightened up. Haven't been on in 5 days. Also not like me.
Went to see the b/f. Went to work with him. I mostly watched other people do things. I did help a time or two by moving trucks and once by picking someone up after he dropped a semi off at another location. B/f has been looking for jobs elsewhere in the last few months (prior to meeting me). He's tired of the 7a-11p seven days a week that he's been working during harvest. Until this weekend he's been looking at Texas. He's finally started looking near where I live. That had me worried for a bit.
Hope Mrs. airscotia and the little airscotians are all doing well. I trust that your classes are wonderful too and that you're making top marks. Big and
for you.
Good evening

Been missing you too Emee . Sorry to hear those nasty old bosses are keeping tabs on you
,it's just not fair.
I've been snowed under with stuff here (which reminds me, how did the
ing go) ?
I hope you're keeping well, the productions are going great, and the life is still HOT HOT HOT
. I'm off on a trip to Wales for a week now, so i'll still be missing for a bit yet, but i'll try to catch up with you when i get back.
Here's a nice bit of to keep you going
.
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Oct 30, 2003
Trying to find a new job with nice new bosses.
ing is in January - just booked it early to get good rates.
Productions are going well didn't have to do more than show up at the theatre for the current one. The next one will be cast & start rehearsing in December. That's going to make me crazy.
life is going *quite* well. He's going to come with me to my family Thanksgiving thing. Scary and exciting all at once. They've finally finished with harvest too, so he's coming down this weekend to see me.
I've driven out to see him twice now so it's his turn.
for the
Hope the archeology is going well. How was the dig?
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Nov 20, 2003
Hi! *waves* Haven't had much time to be online. Miss everyone, especially you. Hope all is well with you & yours.
RL bf is wonderful. He's going with me to Thanksgiving dinner.
I'll let you know if we're still dating after that.
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Nov 21, 2003
We're getting closer to being online at the same time, there was only a day in it this time.
Glad the romance is going great Emee, i'm sure it can survive one turkey dinner. If by some chance he disgraces himself over the family dinner table however, don't forget i'm always available for next year
.
Everyones fine here, and getting excited about Xmas, how about you?
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Dec 5, 2003
Thanksgiving went well. We spent Thursday & Friday with my family, then Saturday & Sunday with his. I was more worried about my family asking about engagement rings & the like. Fortunately, they behaved themselves.
I'm starting a new job Monday. Same company, different department. I'm trying to get packed up today & throw out all the old files I won't need anymore.
Christmas should be interesting. B/f's family is gathering at his house. This will be the first Christmas I haven't spent with family. My family is exchanging gifts on the 21st after my brother's law school graduation. I'm so proud of him.
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Dec 8, 2003
loads going on there Emee.......makes my life seem rather tame by comparison
.
As today is Monday i guess you've started the new job, i hope it all went well, i know it's always a tricky time.Hopefully as you're only moving department you'll still have some of the old pals around you (and leave the ******* boss behind)
As your family had far too much tact, i feel it my duty to ask............so when you getting a ring? Sounded like Thanksgiving was a huge success, and he's obviously smitten if he wants to spend Crimbo with you.
Massive congratulations to your brother, i'll bear him in mind when i want to sue the **** off someone.
Good evening

We're getting married!
March 20 is the big day - provided we can find a place to have the ceremony & reception that won't charge an arm and a leg and a kidney.
Happy Holidays, if I don't catch you online between now & then.
Good evening

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EMEE
I hope you have the greatest Christmas ever Emee, and all of us here wish you and yours a wonderful New Year.
Now on to the next set of celebrations . I'm delighted that the boyfriend has popped the question (what took him so long?
) He is a very lucky man, and i'll just have to come to terms with the fact he beat me to it
.I have scoured the deepest recesses of my attic, and i'm pleased to announce that my velvet page boy suit has been found and still fits
. This means i'm available for duty on the 20th of March
I look forward to hearing about all the preparations, and of course my advice is always free .I'm just so happy for you Emee, you were my first friend on here, and you deserve all the happyness in the world.
As you are still young, free, and single at the moment however, it means i can still send you loads of these.................
Good evening

Have to try to get online more often. Miss everyone here.
Good evening

Miss you too Em, the movie game and non-sequiters just isn't the same without you..
Nice that you pop back to keep us up to date though , i was wondering the other day wether you'd been
ing yet. I still have a mental picture of you careering downhill at the wheel of the beetle
I suppose this is one occaision where you won't want the theatre version of good luck
.
Are you still getting time to do the thespian bit too, or has the love life taken over? I think i can guess the answer,.......love me, love my show, right?
Elope eh? how very romantic. Over here we traditionally elope to Gretna Green in Scotland, where is it over there...........Vegas?
Have a great trip my old pal, hope to hear all about it soon.
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Jan 14, 2004
Online at the same time!
We'll probably elope to Arkansas. Vegas would work too though.
He *did* sit through one of the worst shows ever. Well, the script was good, the actors were wretched. Working on 'Das Barbecu' now. Performances at the end of February.
After that really bad show, he had the satisfaction of getting to help tear down the set. He decided that might be alright to do on a regular basis.
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Jan 14, 2004
Yay great to meet you live again Em, it's been a while.
I can see the attraction in set destruction..........it's a man thing
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Jan 14, 2004
All I had to do was tell him the set designer had an extra power drill and he started drooling.
For this next show I'm going to see if I can get him interested in the construction. ...table saw...planer...joiner...
I know he'll never be as into theatre as I am, but if he can enjoy some aspects, it will help.
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Jan 14, 2004
You've hit the nail on the head there Emee(if you'll pardon the pun), the way to a mans heart is with a power tool. That sounds like a Wes Craven scenario
.
I take it that the elopement means my velvet suit is redundant. Good thing on reflection, as i've...erm......spread a little over Christmas. Not all of me would fit in it i think
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Jan 14, 2004
I think I did some of that myself. Too much . *sigh*
So how is archeology these days? You said something a while back about a dig? Did you unearth anything?
