I'm a real trivia junkie so this "suits jes fine y'now".(Sometimes my knowledge of foreign languages stuns even me)
Why are all brits supposed to have bad teeth? Mine look very nice in this glass on the desk.
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Apr 23, 2003
And why are all Oklahomans supposed to be rednecks?
I'm a *serious* trivia junkie. I even like the Star Wars version of Trivial Pursuit. ()
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Apr 23, 2003
I apologise for the awful accent attempt(i wasn't aiming for redneck-more the Waltons)If you like you can do a dick van dyke "cockney" accent in revenge.
Anyway although its only just gone noon there it's rather late here so i must off,ta ta for now.
PS you really do watch too many obscure films!!.
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Apr 23, 2003
Oh I think the accent is funny. What's really scary is that in films, I can tell the difference between a southern accent from Texas and one from Georgia.
It's 7:46pm and I'm going home. Hurray! I hate 'special projects' that aren't special at all.
Good evening

All the President's Men was required watching in high school. The government teacher was trying to make a point.

Head wound? What?
Today's lunch was a Subway sandwich, by the way. I know you were dying to find out.
Hope things are well now that you're not beating your head against trailers.
Oh - if you click on a smiley it will take you to the page that has a complete list.
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Apr 24, 2003
Oh yes this smiley thing could become addictive,,thanks for the tip.
More proof of the culture gap "subway sandwich"? would this be a sarnie bought on the tube?
I can't seem to get the injured smiley on here ,but i'm much better now just a flesh wound!!
u still working hard?-me with feet up
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Apr 24, 2003
Well, I'm trying to get some work done. This project is kicking my bottom now though.
Subway is a store name here in the US. They claim to be the number 3 fast food place. It's just a sandwich with cold cuts, cheese, veggies & dressing or mustard. So I guess the answer's yes.
Good evening

I'm amazed you get any work at all done, i would be on here all the time. You always seem to be under pressure at work,is it worth all the stress?
If it all gets too much u should pack it in and go to the movies(there must be one or two you havn't seen)
Tell me if i overuse the
Good evening

There are some days I accomplish less than others.
The pressure is okay most days. It's when the personality conflicts with my manager arise that I get really stressed. And just now I couldn't figure out the best way to arrange the data I'm working on - spreadsheet vs. database - . I dream of running away to the Outer Hebrides.
Smileys are necessary. If you really work on it, you can have entire conversations of only smileys.
Good evening

The one real beauty of my job is the lack of managerial imput, once i'm gone i'm pretty much on my own. There is no smiley of a lorry sowill have to do.
I have a theory that devides us all into two groups those that "aspire"(want to get on ,advance and conquer)and those that "perspire"(just do the job).I'm a perspirer-Aim low be happy.
The outer hebrides by the are freezing, but i got sunburned on Tiree(attempting to surf)thats the inner hebrides.
Would you like some
Good evening

*sigh* Sounds heavenly. My last manager was very laid back. That was nice. I just need to get my act together and write that best-selling novel.
I think there might be something to your theory. I don't /think/ I want to conquer but a promotion might be nice.
Freezing is good. You can always put on more clothes or start a fire or something. Lived in South Dakota for a year. *sigh* Snow from October to May.
I'd love some . Thanks!

Ah yes the novel that lurks within us all, some of the characters i've met in real life would be unbelievable in a novel.
You are right about the weather, nothing worse than too hot,but something very comforting about warming up from the cold.
You seem to have moved around a bit are you on the run?,although i've travelled quite a bit i've always lived around Oxford.
I type by the way with all the speed and skill of a striking slughence no novel yet.
Would you likewith that cake?
Good evening
Emee, out from under the rock Posted Apr 24, 2003
I've lived in Oklahoma 3x, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Colorado and Kansas 2x. My dad was a minister but now he works for social services.
Where all have you travelled?
I'd *love* a cuppa. Thanks!
Good evening
airscotia-back by popular demand Posted Apr 24, 2003
I was guessing on a parent in the services, but not that sevice.
My travels have taken me to France,Spain,Portugal,Italy-all workbut still time for a little playMalta, cyprus,Germany ,holidays. And i think i've just about covered every square inch of Britain between work and play.
The size of the U.S. taken into account you've most likely done more miles than me!!
Trying to work out the Emee Emmy-lou?
not too hot?
