BNW had a lot about how the populace is lulled into a false sense of security and how certain elements of society are hidden away.
I've only read 1984. Not even Animal Farm, but have an idea of the story of that one.
Thanks, but no for the . It would spoil my dinner.

I'm not sure yet. Maybe ravioli with marinara & grated parmesean. Or I might just go to bed. I'm wiped out.

Must be the delirium. I could almost be one, but I like ham and turkey too much. I did have a friend who had to be on a vegan diet once. It was a health thing and not her choice at all.

I'm having problems tonight, this is like trying to swim through treacle(molasses).
I had a friend who lived with a vegan once, very volatile in the toilet area apparently.Though nice enough in all other respects.

that could be bad. My friend is quite happy to be back on meat & cheese though she still has to watch the calories & fat grams & all that fun stuff.

I gave up smoking and had a duel to the death with "count calorie", it was a nightmare,as if the pain of nicotine withdrawal symptoms wasn't bad enough you pile on weight too...i know...i know "remember to breath"
That incidently, has become one of my new sayings.Thank you it baffles everyone
Good evening

I never smoked. So that's a good thing. But I have what is possibly the most sedentary job in the world. I think my bum is taking on the shape of my chair.
And anything I can do to baffle the masses is good. *evil *

I too have a bum thus shaped
I really do need to start taking care of the old body, the amount of abuse i've given it over the years,it's a wonder it hasn't left me. I given up tobbacco, reduced my weight and bought a bike.........something is screaming middle-age at me
Good evening

I tend to snack at home too, so I try not to have anything too tempting at home.
RL interruptions. Grr.
Had lunch at an elementary school. Every Tuesday I eat pizza and talk bikes, slip'n'slide, and new shoes.

S'aright. I pay for my lunch. It's a whole $2.25. It's called the Lunch Buddy program. You just chat with the kid. Some days I just want to pack all of them up and take them home with me.
Good evening

Lunch buddy, in all seriousness that sounds like a terrific idea.Nobody really listens to kids, just a few minutes with somebody whos interested in what they've got to say can mean a lot.
Your a star Emee.
