Luckystar
I would be willing (for charity)to either don my rugby kit and work up a sweat for you or wear my fashionable golfing stuff. I do have oddly shaped balls too - for the rugby. Which would you prefer? Is August free?

We could do the whole lot of us in Rugby kit for the December finale. Although my rugby kit dates back to when I was 17, and the shorts were too damn tight then!!!

Lovely loosehead, yes you can be August, and I think sweaty rugger gear is the look I'm going for, rather than sedate golfing attire.
where would you like to position your funny shaped balls then?

Beatrice Posted Jan 21, 2003
Obviously!
D'you want to be standing facing the camera straight on, holding the ball with both hands, or did you have a different pose in mind?
What position d'you play anyhoo?

I am somewhat obviously a loosehead. And I can be found hugging a hooker at every opportunity during play but never after no-side.
I dont suppose I can pose with one?
I could be pictured giving the ball an almighty hoof into the air. This will demonstrate my manly thighs to best effect.

Gosh! I never realised "loosehead" was a rugby term! Wow!
Is that a bit like a prop forward then?
*loads new film into camera*

loosehead Posted Jan 21, 2003
Exactly. One prop is the loosehead (on the left) and the tighthead is on the right when the 2 scrums collide.

I promised Saturnine she need not learn anything about me - look away child

Beatrice Posted Jan 21, 2003
Is that on "your" left, or as the opposition looks at you, or the hooker's left, and does it change at half-time, or....?
Oh never mind! Do you have asymmetrical thighs then? Which would you like nearest the camera?
*climbs up stepladder to get right angle*

Now say that with two fingers in your mouth....

Beatrice Posted Jan 21, 2003
Are you posing like that? (with 2 fingers in your mouth?)

loosehead Posted Jan 21, 2003
*poses and calls Bob a typical blindside **anker *

Mu Beta Posted Jan 21, 2003
Ah - Bob. I too am a blindside flanker. Which rather ruins any h2g2 rugby team we may have.
I will play No. 8 if no-one else wants to, though. Not really big enough, but hey.

I can play open as well, and hooker, as long as someone else'll take the lineouts...
But im obviously to small to play rugby now. Even at 16 I was the smallest forward in Bristol Schools. Didnt stop me though...
