Not yet. I will though. Right now, I'm still working through the Flying Circus DVDs.

I found a python site the other day with all the scripts and even audio files from some of the sketches. Not quite same as the real thing, though.

No, that's not quite the same as seeing it (in english), unfortunately. It's better than nothing, though, I guess.

Yes, browsing through the sketches made me remember a lot of things I had forgotten. But many of them are not funny at all without the visual.

Arthbard Posted Mar 9, 2002
That's too bad. Probably makes you hate Italian television even more, huh?

Peaceful Dragon (napping) Posted Mar 9, 2002
Next time they show anything I could turn down the sound and read the scripts while watching.
Arthbard, Vooten dominator!
Arthbard Posted Mar 9, 2002
That could work. It would work even better if you can parrot John Cleese.

I'm sure I can do the accent fairly well, but the voice won't be easy.

Arthbard Posted Mar 9, 2002
Well, maybe you'll get it with a bit of practice.
Arthbard, Vooten dominator!
Peaceful Dragon (napping) Posted Mar 9, 2002
Or with a sex change operation. But I don't think I want that.

Arthbard Posted Mar 10, 2002
Oh, no. Maybe you should just try to parrot Carol Cleveland, instead.

Peaceful Dragon (napping) Posted Mar 10, 2002
Ok, and just pretend I'm parroting all the guys. Don't think that will fool me into believeing it's the real thing I'm watching, but it will certainly be better than the Italian version.

If you really use your imagination, you may be able to fool yourself. I guess maybe it depends on how easy you are to fool.

Peaceful Dragon (napping) Posted Mar 10, 2002
Oh, I'm very easy to fool sometimes.
