thread, due to having been away from it for two weeks.

Had a great time in Paris, the original one that is, where the Metro smells of poo. Nice to be home though.

Roo, saw the usual sights, but in case you go again, the Louvre is free on the first Sunday of each month. Didn't see the catacombs or cemetary because my best beloved gets all spooked as he sees ghosts! The best meal we had was at a restaurant that a French colleague took us to. The food was fantastic, as it was tucked away in the Bastille area we would have never found it.

next time you visit somewhere new do like I do don't go to a restrant just go to someones house and pretend you are long lost relitives...they always feed those
