Paul!
Welcome to the club
The connection between car wax and cheese is, like many of the connections around here, completely random..
And as for the backlog- I don't think that actually reading it helps much...
I haven't seen a frog in RL for years ... plenty of them around here though...
Anyway, help yourself to drinks or cheese, and if you wish to play a song on the gramophonium, please do so!

Pod:
When I was reading your bio, I was amused that
you whistled the same note over and over.
Was it an interesting note? Have you ever
considered developing its full range so that
you can become a Johnny One-Note who
leaps to stardom?
I whistle a lot (some would say too much),
but I don't stay on one note....

Well, Paul, that particular note was politically motivated. It was designed and conceived with the intention of annoying my creators, the scientists who work for the shadowy secret multinational organisation that creates life pods. It may be of some use to John Cage, perhaps?
But, more importantly, may I say how impressed I am that you took the trouble to read the backlog?

" It may be of some use to John Cage, perhaps?"
Or Percy Grainger ("Immovable Do") aficionados.
I don't know if I would want to make John Cage's life
any easier. Imagine writing a piece for orchestra
with nothing but rests!
I wrote a satiric song for a monotone once.....

I get lost in RL, too. Sometimes, I suspect that I've strayed
across the line and am not in RL any more.
merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
life is but a dream

Not only do I get lost IRL, I get other people lost, too... (Saying 'Go right' and pointing left, or vice-versa, will do that...)

* shudders * Left / right - nearly as bad a concept as time.
I never did get the hang of left and right! My driving instructor used to hate the way he would say tuen right and only 50% of the time would I go the way he wanted! I took my driving test in winter and had to do it with one sleeve rolled up so when I was told to go right I went to the side that had the rolled up sleeve. Right = rolled up. The examiner must have thought I was mad and kept asking if my arm was cold and if I knew how to control the temperature in the car
Still they let me drive cars on my own now

Plato
Light, I've got it easier (when I remember)--left is where the wedding and engagement rings are! And the watch, or the very white spot around my wrist when I'm not wearing it...

I'm not married Amy so that wont work for me.
I got badly coaught out with the watch thing too - A freind gave me directions on how to find their house using watch hand and non watch hand for directions - I got very lost and to this day dont know where I ended up! My friend assumed I wear my watch on the left and I dont! When I have to know the time I wear my watch on the right.
* wonders if Plato actually made a really good point *
I have tried the hand you write with technique too - not that helpful either - I tend to write with the hand that is nearer the pen
Moral of the story - dont listen to directions I give and draw me a map if you want to give me directions and actually wnat me to show up

I'll draw you a map anytime Light
Personally, I have never really bothered with the concepts of left and right. I can manage "closer to " and "further away from " but even they don't last very long... mainly I use "giggling" and "not giggling"... these are very handy pointers I find..
Now, where was I? Ah, yes...
I have a pair of slippers with faces on them. I call one of them "Larry Left Slipper" and the other one "Rachel Right Slipper". This does nothing to help me tell left from right, but I do find it strangly comforting...
*Joins in on the counterpoint with Paul*
Row row row your boat....
