i think you ought to know I'm feeling very depressed
Posted Sep 14, 2005
Hello! I don't really have anything to say, but I thought I might drop in and um...I dunno...It's pretty boring around my house today...well, more like exceptionally boring, or more boring than usual. Because its always boring around here, except today its even more so...You know, those days when you're at home with just one other person, in this case my dad, and he keeps taking naps and doing other less than interesting things. And its sort of gloomy outside, like, when it keeps looking like its going to rain...but then it gets sunny all the sudden, so then you think 'oh! I say! I rather think that I shall take a lovley stroll!' but then it gets gloomy again, so then you think you'll go shoot youself...not that I wanted to shoot myself today, in case you were worried...but you know...right now it just ot sunny....maybe a will take a walk..even if it's a short one...damn, my cappuccino is all gone....but anyway, you keep trying to read a book, but it keeps getting boring...I bought the DVD of THHGTTG, and I watched it this morning, so my day got off to a pretty good start, but then, you know...umm...errrr....what else have I got to complain about....I think I'll go and take that walk, but by the time that I have changed my cloths and put on my shoes, it will be gloomy again, but it's worth a try..... And I should probably practise the harp at some point today.....and the piano...my lesson is tomorrow,so I should bone up....
God, I feel like Marvin.
Life, don't talk to me about life.

Interview with Myself
Posted Sep 4, 2005
me: Good evening, Mr Bowman. Tell us about yourself. Like, where do you live?
ms: Near Greenville, Ohio.
me: Really? That’s interesting.
ms: Actually, it’s crap and I hate it, so **** you.
me: Sor-RY. Don’t need to be so sensitive. God. Anyway, what about your family? Brothers? Sisters?
ms: Sister lives in Minneapolis, and brother lives in Florida. Sister is into theatre, and brother’s into music.
me: That’s interesting.
ms: I suppose.
me: So what do you want to do when you grow up?
ms: I’m going to university, and then travel. Particularly in Europe, and Britain. Then I want to live in London for a few years. And probably move back to the US. But somewhere cool. Not this dump.
me: That’s interesting.
ms: Stop saying that, you *ssh*le!
me: You have a very militant attitude.
ms: So what are you going to do about it, jerk?
me: Shall we move on?
ms: Sure.
me: So what else do you like/want to do?
ms: I like reading, writing, playing the piano, cooking, and pretending that I’m British.
me: Why’s that?
ms: ‘Cause America stinks.
me: Why’s that?
ms: Because ol’ Dubya has suceeded in his life’s ambition of screwing up the rest of the world. And making America a crappy place to live. And ‘sides, I don’t like the culture anyway. I like British stuff.
me: Why’s that?
ms: QUIT SAYING THAT! Because I say so.
me: So what do you do during the day? What’s your routine?
ms: I wake up. Drink tea. Get on the computer fo a while. Read. Eat food. Play piano. Read more. Pet cat. Do some sort of writing activity. Hang out. And then it goes on like that all day. Oh, also, I work out and then take a walk/run, weather permitting.
me: Sounds interesting.
ms: Sometimes.
me: What about hobbies? Do you collect anything?
ms: Use to collect stamps, but not anymore.
me: How come?
ms: Too d*mn expensive.
me: Facinating.
ms: Screw you.
me: Someone needs to learn some manners.
ms: Someone need to learn to shut up.
me: Well, I think that wraps it up for today. I hope that we talk again soon.
ms: I don’t. I think you’re an awful person.
me: Hey. Shut up, man.
ms You first, j*ck*ss.

Coffee Shop Essay
Posted Sep 2, 2005
This is a little observation essay that I wrote today in Broadway Joes, which is a coffee shop in town. AND it is the only cool place in Greenville.
Creepy weird-looking guy on a laptop in the window. He has some sort of earpiece....
Another laptop guy at the table behind me....few minutes ago, he was talking on his cellphone. Sounds like he’s going on a church trip, and they were talking about food and meal plans.
Two ladies, probably mother and daughter, eating lunch from the deli. Having conversation, but they are inaudible.
Few minutes ago, there was this guy in a suit and tie...I didn’t like him, he looked like some creepy businessman.
Tall guy, and adopted Chinese girl about three, and wife just sat down at a table near me.
Connie from the library just walked in. I saw her walking down the sidewalk earlier.
Guy with Chinese girl is eating chile, quiche, and ice tea. Wife is just having quiche and ice tea.
Just finished tiramisu latte. Thinking about getting a spoon. Hate to waste good froth. Ended up getting a stir stick instead.
Place has emptied out pretty well. People on the couches have left. It’s quiet in here all of the sudden.
I can’t believe I spent 4.60 on lattes. I had an Italian cappuccino, and then a tiramisu latte thing.
I haven’t seen anyone I know yet, except Connie. It’s unusual. I always see crap-loads of people I know.
Creepy laptop gut has left his computer unattended. I should go steal it. Here he comes. Never mind.
It’s not as exciting here as I hoped it would....
A guy just walked in. I don’t know who he is, but he looks familiar.
The laptop guy behind me looks deep in thought. The Chinese girl seems to have an inexhaustible supply of those free crackers for salads....
I wish some more interesting people would come in. I don’t like it when people act normal. So it’s their fault this thing is boring. Was that Reuben walking down the sidewalk across the street?
I’m surprised Ed Cornell hasn’t shown up yet. He always brings this shiny stainless steel coffee pot that he has filled up, and then he takes it to work.
It’s kinda noisy again. But not too bad. Old lady just sat down near me. She seems pretty nice.
Here comes Christina. She’s from the library too. She comes here all the time. I think that a lot of library people come in here because it’s just around the corner, so they come here for their lunch break.
The laptop guy behind me just left.

I'm bored.

I'M BORED, D*MMIT!
Although I don't feel like doing anything. But I think that I may make some cookies later on...and then maybe take a walk....I'm hanging out here, because there isn't really anywhere else around to hang, 'cause my brother's sleeping on the couch, so he's hogging up the living room....
I think that tonight I might watch a DVD...My brother has some movies laying around here. I think that I'll re-watch 'School of Rock' or this other one that he has been talking about. 'Envy' it's called. I think that it is about this guy that invents this aerosol spray that makes dog poop evaporate or something....
I'M BORED, D*MMIT!
Anyway, I think I'll find my cat and give him a hug. It kills me that I can't tell anyone what his name is, because that's the secret question that I have on my registration form...but it starts with an S...Oh, I can tell you his nickname, though. It's Puddy. You know, 'I taht I tah a puddy tat!'. That's where the nickname originated. Not that anyone cares...but I like my cat. I always go on about him....
Those cookies are become quite attractive, I must say....
I'M BORED, D*MMIT!
I think I'll name all the two leter word that I can think of..
of, to, hi, my, by, oh, ni*, ho, ha, he, si... *goes to find the Scrabble dictionary....*
*We are the knights who say.....NI!
Okay. I'm going to go make those cookies.

Stuff...
Posted Aug 21, 2005
Mornin'. I think that today, just to make things intresting/cruelly tedious read, I'll speak in, I dunno....mid-Westeren American dialect...
Weeelll, Ahm 'bout 'half way throo mah secohnd cuppa tea....and Ah jus' godup 'bou' 'alf hour 'go...an today I'm gonna AAAAHH! Screw this! This is too difficult for me to type! I'm use to typing real fast and this crap is slowing me down...Forget it, I'm just going to talk properly now...
OK, pretty what I said up there stays, except now picture it in a more civalized language. OK, so I'm drinking tea, though I can't decide what I want to eat for my breaking of the fast....I don't know if I want...like...generic Chex...or hummus and Italian herb flavoured flat bread, or wheat toast and some of that substitute bacon stuff that is usually lurking in the freezer....I dunno.
Anydangway, my brother, nine years my senior is home for a while to visit. He lives in Florida, sort of near Orlando, but anyway. When he lived at home, he was a real jerk, and was really mean and horrible to everyone, mainly including me...but now that he's moved off, he's changed a lot and is not so jerk-like....But anyway, remenber how I told everyone how I live near this really lamely cheerful town? And how there's this wonderful downtown that is the pride and joy of the city? Well there's one more thing like that:
The self proclaimed 'Great' Darke County Fair.
The Great Darke County Fair is in every August...and very lame. I mean, about 89% of it is just greasy food vendors... and then a bunch of rides, and dumb games...But anyway, this year, the Beach Boys are performing, so we are going to go see them today. I guess the Beach Boys have sort of reached the Has Been status...you know, paying at lame county fairs...But, I mean, don't get me wrong, I like the Beach Boys, but I'm just saying...
And...what else is going on today...Oh, we are all doing over to my Grandma's house for a sort of early dinner...yeah...that's pretty exciting...And I'm going to call my sister (eleven years my senior) today...she lives in Minneapolis...that's a pretty awesome place...I've been there a few times....Uhh, Let's see, what else to say...
Umm, I watch 'Fargo' last night on TV... and the night before that I watched 'The Jerk', and before that 'Crossroads'. NO! Not the Brittany Speares movie, the one from the '80s....
I have to go to the bathroom in case you're interested....though I'm too lazy to get up, so I'll do it when I'm done here.
This thing is getting really long, maybe I should stop. I wonder where my cat is... And I think that I have some t-shirts outside on the clothsline... I should probably go get them....
