not good

well personnel upheld my complaint and the college has a month to sort things out and then health and safety are coming in to check the place out. Personnel have asked me to see if I can get anyone else to come forward and complain ...but most are too scared.They said they are very concerned about the management style.
However the principal and senior tutor are making it really difficult for me to do my job. I am spied upon and isolated by their actions and the other staff are too scared to not follow what they say. I have not spoken to a single member of staff who is not wanting to leave.
I just hope I am strong enough to keep going until I can find another job.I don't want to go off sick as that will look bad when I go for another job and also then they have won.
So think positive thoughts for me fellow hootooers that this whistleblower survives to fight another day.

an update sigh

Just a quickie as I am waiting for the tresco delivery.
1) my GP 
says I have high blood pressure due to the stress at work. normally my bp is fine.
2) The college have put in a position where I will have to break Data Protection act to do my job
3) I am seeing personnel on Thursday..they are backing me up on this but the college are ignoring them
4)Another member of staff has walked out and is seeing personnel on wednesday citing constructive dismissal.
all the fun of the fair.

need to scream

sigh I've not been around because everything has gone pear shaped at work. Out of our little group of eight staff, 2 have already got new jobs, 3 of us are job hunting(I've already had one interview), one is going on maternity leave and everyone else who works at the college is up in arms at the bosses(handbags at dawn as one person put it) and wanting to walk out.
I have already taken advice from the union and apparently I have immediate grounds to go for constructive dismissal at a tribunal....so that gives you some idea how bad things are. They are trying to get me to break the data protection act and I refuse
So need less to say I am a bit stressed
and haven't been around much. I am awaiting the next installment as it were from the bosses.
The one good thing is now I know it isn't just me, I feel better , because I was starting to think I was paranoid
On the plus side the interview for the job I went for, I didn't get it as they needed someone with different qualifications, but the feed back I got was really good
. They sent me a letter saying they actively encourage me to apply again ..so sounds good
Now where is that brick for my handbag

Oedipus
ate a daddy long legs last night

Baggins had a small mouse
again and Oedipus pinched it. 
He came in so proud and we had to pretend he had caught it.
Nessie said he sucked it to death
He has been a lot lively though since gave him a new lease of life.Well it was either that all the chicken he had off my chinese meal last night
The sun is shining again
and the housework is done for today, washing is out so will relax for the afternoon.Just need to decide what to make for lunch...probably sandwiches..it's too warm

morning present?

Got up at 6am and let the cats out went back to bed for an hour. I've not been so good
last few days so thought maybe an extra hour in bed
might help.
Nothing serious ,just getting old
Gets back up at 7am as cats returned to the bedroom to protest about the lack of service ...no fresh food had been put out.
Comes down..goes to sink to get clean cat bowls....and ..a huge pile of catty regurgitation next to the sink.Lovely first thing on a morning.sigh
It's lovely and quiet here this morning..all I can hear is the wind in the trees and the occasional dog walker shouting their dog
, as they pass the end of the garden. Cats have gone back to bed .
I will make some breakfast when Nessie gets up.
Well back to work on Tuesday..looking forward to seeing people but not going to work
I have put in for another job which may mean I'll be doing two jobs for 3-6 months....but it will help my finances so if I get the chance I will take it.Should hear in two weeks. to all...have a lovely sunday
