new room

how many porters does it take to move two boxes?
obviously a trick question as I have waited three days.
how many students can I bribe to help me move office ....easy... as many as I can find during Easter break.
(which isn't that many and the first lot ate all the choclate biscuits.)
I may have to admit defeat and move after the Easter break....bad news as then the classes are in full flow and time is short.
I need a beaming up machine as in "Beam it up Scotty" and drop it back in the next building . Knowing my luck it would get stuck in a cross stream and still take 4 days to materialise and would probably be all jumbled up with a physics lab!
well back to it.

office

well the Joss sticks have worked...they are moving me to a new office...
It has a window that does not look onto a wall and enough room so that having two people in it doesn't cause air loss.
This has to be a first for the power of the joss stick!
It will soon be my holiday...I can't wait......sleep glorious sleep and no alarm clock at 6.15am.
If I can get enough volunteers I should be able to move to the new office before I go.
The offer of a pint afterwards and coffee and biscuits during should do it.
Goota go ...incoming

work

My boss is now convinced I am on drugs. He says I am a hyperactive e mailer.
The smell in my office is the joss sticks I burn to cover up the smell of dry rot that permeates this old building......everyone thinks it is pot. Just because i am an aging hippie!
Well the universe hasn't changed much since I last wrote an entry.( still off to Loch Ness for Easter)
I am going to a rock concert in June nowhere near as exciting as a black spaceship hitting the sun...probably still be raining in fact. I'm starting to sound like Marvin. Here I am with the brain the size of etc. (except pea doesn't sound as impressive as planet.)
Introduced my teenager to HitchHikers. I bought the video of the old TV series ...she loved it and has now read the book.

Well it must be coffee time and the emails are piling in....I need a computer to answer the emails on my computer !
