[Gandark] Yes, I just joined. I'm not much good at anything. I can't fly and haven't any gadgets. I use magic. My specialty is Blue Magic, which is the copying of other people's abilites. I can also summon comets and lightning bolts and things with my magic, and do a few nifty tricks like that. But I don't know if I'll be all that much good at hero work. I've never tried it before.

don't worry about it, I don't have any flashy powers either, just healing powers. And even then I get punched through walls by Mecha-Apes
( you had to be there at the time...)

[Gandark] I hope this doesn't offend you, but are you half-man half-cat or just actually a complete intelligent feline? Do you consider yourself more cat or more human and what do you like to eat?

I think you mean Kattman. I'm Crimson Lady, pleased to meet you *shakes hands*
I've got a bio in my personal space

JinjerTom Posted Aug 22, 2005
Sorry for the delay - strolled off to have some supper and play at being SaxMan for a while.
I suppose the answer to your question is somewhat a matter of purrspective - in certain situations I am more Katt than Man, but in others Vice Versa.
My key skills are not so much supernatural as pure agility (a bit like Spiderman, but better at jumpng off things than climbing up them and without the web-spinning capability). I am, however, extremely good at finding nice places to sleep and tasty morsels to share with friends. You should've been at the last BBQ - I caught a gazelle and brought it along.
Hoping to publish my meao-oires soon. Just read Crimson Lady's biog. Very interesting.
What about yourself?

*accepts handshake like a gentleman*
[Gandark] Oh yes, terribly sorry, madam. I didn't mean to ignore you.
Gandark takes a step backward, removes his wizard's cap and bows low. Replacing his hat, he says:
[Gandark] Gandark Underhill, Wizard and Professional Hero at your service.

Pleased to meet you! I wish there were a few more gentlemen around here

[Gandark] Ah, Mr. Katt, my story is so long that if I started telling it yesterday I wouldn't finish until tomorrow. Suffice to say it is the odd fate of a poor halfling to wander far and long in search of truth and justice through a strange, weary and bewildering world.
Gandark is my character from my h2g2 RPG site over at A989698. He is the main character of a novel (or series of novels) that I am writing at the moment. I thought it would be interesting to have a halfing/hobbit type RPG character as a superhero.
Looks like a barefoot little kid in a blue wizard's outfit, barely waist-high to an adult, but he is actually somewhere between 18 and 21 forever, because of a potion of immortality he once drank.

Hey, I'm a gentleman too; just 'cos I'm evil doesn't mean I'm without manners. Nobody ever extended a hand to shake my comically oversized metal gauntlet....whose the rude one now?

I apologise Prof, You just didn't strike me as the handshake type.

might be a good idea to state your character's name somewhere in your post to avoid confusion in the future please!!!
[Gandark] Perhaps being evil may have more consequences than you had first considered, knave.

*Shakes Crimson Lady's hand* I hope this is the start of a blossoming friendship. Apparently we are creating attention, I would rather create chaos so I must depart. Until next time.

Gandark casts the remains of his orange into a nearby trash can and sighs.
[Gandark] I wish I had some faster mode of transport. Perhaps I should try to create a flying carpet, controlled by wind and gravity spells...

*as night comes and the rain begins to fall, Spectre paces along in the alleyway shadows on the lookout for crime*
*there is a clattering noise from a nearby alleyway*
hello, what have we here?
*Spectre approaches the corner and cautiously looks around it. There are 3 people under the fire escape beating up a fourth who is lying curled up on the floor covering his head. There is a substantial amount of blood on his face.
Spectre scales the drainpipe and crosses the rooftop until he is at the top of the fire escape. Quickly and quietly he makes his way down until he is only 4 feet above the thugs.*
Nice night for it…</>
*As the thugs jump and look up Spectre leaps from the fire escape, flips in mid-air and lands facing them. One pulls out a gun but before he even has time to aim Spectre is upon him giving him an electrical shock from his gloves.
The body of the first thug goes limp as the other two decide it would be a good time to flee, but Spectre kicks one’s legs out from under him as he leaps after the other and knocks him unconscious with a blow to the temple. The second thug goes down, but the third has seen the gun. As Spectre turns he sees the figure reaching for the weapon, but he’s too far away to reach quickly enough.
Thinking fast, spectre whips the lid off one of the nearby bins and flings it at the thug as he turns. The bin lid thwacks of his fore head knocking him unconscious instantly. He falls back into a pile of wet boxes and the gun drops from his limp fingers*
*keeping a cautious eye on the unconscious thugs, Spectre helps the victim to his feet.*
Victim: Are…are they…
Spectre: They’ll be fine. Do you have a phone on you?
Victim: What? Oh. Yes I do. Why?
Spectre: Call an ambulance and tell them where you are. Then call the police as well. Go and wait by the main road and when they arrive show them where this lot are. Got that?
Victim: Yes I think so. But… are you leaving.
Spectre: Yes. They won’t bother you know. Just call the police like I said and they’ll take care of them. Go on now.
*The man walks unsteadily towards the streetlight on the main road. Spectre watches him go and then leaps for the ladder of the fire escape, scales it and is on the roof in a matter of seconds, leaving the three unconscious thugs to await the police.*

*Watching a live news report about half an hour afterward from his stately mansion near the League HQ and the City, Chaos scoffs as he sips his single malt*
Hmmm, that Spectre's a talented one, but then again so am I and most certainly those hoodlums were not.

[Gandark] This'll do nicely. I think I'll to back to Leauge Headquarters and work on it...

*watches the news report also whilst working on some lawyers papers*
Newsreader: "...and after the police arrived the thugs were discovered to have vanished from the alleyway in question. The victim said afterwards..."
*stops working suddenly*
What? Vanished?
*Watches the rest of the news report eagerly.*
So. It seems Prof. Chaos' connections within the police force have helped him this time. At least the victim's ok. Hold on, that's not the victim, That's one of the thugs! They must have got him after all! Damn you Chaos! Damn you!

Gandark was busy listening to news for the weather report to see when would be a good time for a carpet flight test when he heard the media's version of the thug incident.
[Gandark] hmm ... wonder if the Leauge is involved ... been so busy with this project that I haven't paid much attention lately...
[Gandark] oh drat, there's a thunderstorm warning going on. Not good for flying ... but wait ... I need this to work under any conditions ... if this were an emergency, and for all I know it might be, then in theory I should be ready no matter the weather ... so looks like ITS GO TIME!!!
*commands carpet to rise, mounts, and takes off!*
[Gandark] Now, to scan the city and see for myself what's going on!
