Gray Swordsman: "Delightedly. Yet, it would not be fair of me to tell the entire story without any input from Artemis on it; who afterall, was there too,- and so..."

*Turns the question back-around and tries to engage Artemis II in telling the story too.*

"We'd gone to the monks for help. We thougth that they knew what was goiung on. But they threw us in a dungeon, and left us there to rot.

Or at least, they expected us to rot..."

Then what happened?

*C.L. Turns up, late*

(to barman)Howdy Soapy, gimme the usual.



Betcha thought I wasn't gonna show

Gray Swordsman: (To CL) : "Why er,- uh... of course not!"
^_^; "um,- (okay, so -maybe, a little)."

*He smiles a bit of a grin out of one corner to his mouth.*

"This is the good part,- where Arty and I pull off our escape from the cloister."

: T'is ok.

Gray Swordsman:
Can't help it much... but try as he might... he feels himself gradually getting a little bit sleepier.

... The voices around him fade in and out a little.
*There is an odd buzzing sensation*
Then it too, is gone.

*His head slumps a little bit to the side... just touching CL's shoulder a bit... before he wakes up , snaps out-of-it after a moment or 2*

"Oh, Sorry about that. Been pulling some pretty-late shifts lately."

Thinks: It couldn't be one of my oldest enemies now, could it. I wonder if that-thing... and ol' Yellow-X are in cahoots. I thought somebody had finally shut it down for good. Oh no... , why'd it have to be during a bit of a date, in a lounge/bar too? sheesh. Right during the good bit... great timing as usual.

"Excuse me for just a moment but, I do think that another one of my old schoolmates has just unleashed a horde of small-fast and sleek little death robots, once again."

[Nanoto]: Bwahaha... Fwufwufu... I have indeed unleashed a set of said small swift... sleek styled... whobamuhwhat?"
*Gets tonguetied* :-&

[Gray Swordsman]: "Nanoto... for a super-advancedrobot that makes lots of smaller remote controlled robots,- you sure aren't very clever."

[N]: "But I.... crashed the -party!"
[Gray Swordsman]: " this isn't a party..."
[Nanoto]: "Then I shall horn in on your date, steal the attention of your guests and uh ()..." "There-is nothing you can do about it." *Laughs evily, then turns into a duplicate of the Gray Swordsman... but with a darker looking costume and what look like sunglasses where his eyes should be.

[Gray Swordsman]: "Excuse me,- stupid robot..."
[N]:

}Pow!{
*a piece breaks off*

[GS]: "For a samurai-ninja attack robot... you're built kinda dopey like one of those plastic model kits."

[Nanoto]: "Curses... this-is what I get... for being built from some kid nerd... I shall remember this..."

*Folds up into a little tiny car and zooms out of the room, indignantly*

*GS continues as though nothing, - instead of that bizarre interruption, had been what had happened.*

Not bad at all thanks. Will be leaving for about 2 weeks though because I'm going away to India. I hope you lot keep the place clean while I'm gone.

*The Gray swordsman, having finished his drink, absentmindedly finds himself chewing on his metal alemug.*

"Oops. See, ingesting metal is how I replenish my power. It's a weird power, I know. Dying wizards do that to people. I mean, at least I don't have to memorize somebody's acronym that's a name, unlike some folks I might mention." *Shrug*

: But I won't, due to how I don't know who owns the comic rights to that kid anymore. You know-who I mean.
