Poor Cal
Poor lil.
Poor wandering one, though thou hast surely strayed.
Take heart of grace, they steps retrace,
Poor wandering one.

Batty, are you still feeding Henny Penny? At least she'll stick around your place if you do, which is probably a lot nsafer for her than some other places she could go.

Batty_ACE Posted Jul 28, 2005
Oh yes. We're still feeding her... they only had chicken feed in 50 lb bags so we have chicken feed galore!!!
She does look to us for protection too.. a couple times when something has frightened her she'll run onto the deck cackling and yelling like her tail is on fire.

Chicken feed. <?> Isn't that what you pay the 'pool guy' with?
...*makes large cross out of two sticks she breaks off her money tree...*
...*holds it toward the jello shots...* Last time, and I do mean the LAST time I had jello shots I was at my friend Stuart's 40th birthday party. I turned around to watch him open his gifts.
When I turned my chair back to my table everyone had played a prank on me.
The entrie table was nothing but jello shots!
I showed off my skill.
I remember someone taking me home ... I remember someone handing me several black floating balloons & instructing me to release them from my front porch at noon the next day so they'd know I was alive.
(wonder what ever happened to those balloons -
I KNOW what happened to the jello shots)

Why not? You can kind of drink it...
A better one might be pudding made with Baileys. I've heard that done before.

Batty_ACE Posted Jul 29, 2005
I think it might be a bit sweet for my taste - sugar from the pudding and the Baileys..
I used to have a recipe for "homemade Irish Creme" somewhere.. it could probably be done in a way to make an Irish Creme pudding.. I may have to try that..

Just be really careful with that- my friend who told me about this ate way too much and woke up the next day with the Mother of All Hangovers.

I bet! The combination of alcohol and sugar...
I found a recipe for home made Irish Cream online that is close to the one I had... except mind didn't use almond extract and I used good whisky as well as brandy.
3 eggs
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons chocolate-flavored syrup
2 1/2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
16 fluid ounces non-dairy creamer
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 1/4 cups brandy
You could probably "cook" it without the alcohol added yet to get pudding then add the boozy stuff when it's almost done..
In a pinch you could probably just use an instant vanilla pudding, cream or half and half, bittersweet or cocoa powder, and brandy.
Key: Complain about this post
