Ohh.. I love wolves!! You should invite them into the party... have the flonkeys get them some foie gras or something..
*puts on a little b-tribe and strolls out to the veranda for some nice spring evening air (which in the case of NYC gives you all your minerals at the same time)*

g'night Lurcher, dear. I need to get 'stuff' done as well.. the time change over the weekend left me sleepless last night..
*finds a nice chaise on the veranda with lots of silk-covered down pillows and takes a nap*

** walks silently over the deserted veranda, covering Batty with a blanket, as it is getting chilly. **
I was not the only one getting quiet for some time.
Another day, another load of w*rk waiting!
** grabs a forgotten unopened bottle of Veuve Clicquot and leaves again **

I had the most interesting dream.. a dashing gentleman came and cov.. *looks down* hmmmm.. who was that masked researcher??
*gets up and goes to make sure the food and beverages are restocked and finds several flonkeys asleep on the floor in the den* Aren't they cute? Little beasts! Didn't they know they were supposed to keep the party going while I napped???
*arranges fresh food and drink delivery then sits and has a cup of gingerbread cafe con leche while she awaits delivery*

*gets up at the sound of the door chime* oh good.. that must be the delivery...
*opens door* Thanks boys.. Just set it all down in the kitchen. And please take the wrapped leftovers from last night to the shelter for homeless wartopotamusseses. They'll be needing the food..
*looks at the daunting task in front of her and decides 'well.. maybe just this once' and with a twitch of the tail all is ready for this days debauch* now.. a quick shower and a fresh coat of paint and I'll be ready for my guests..

Pops in with her arms full of lilacs (yes I know it's too early for lilacs - but just play along! ). Arranges them in a large vase in Batty's living room.
Yells back to the bedroom... "It's me Batty! Popped over for breakfast! I'm having the gorilla make me an omelet... should I have him make you one also?"

oh... 'ning Marjin! Didn't hear you wander in... be out in a sec!
*hurries around the room looking for her left shoe, which has mysteriously disappeared then finds it in one of the potted plants* wonder how that got there???
*runs toward the kitchen with the zipper on her dress still undone (the gorilla's the only one with the strength to zip it)* Guido, dear, do you mind??? *the loud sound of a zipper then a gasp come from the pantry as she emerges, with her eyes still slightly bulging* fits like a glove!
a toddler's glove that is.. oh well.. if you can breathe it isn't tight enough..

The Ghost of Polidari Posted Apr 9, 2002
* There is a sound of scrabbling and heavy breathing from the veranda, and two hands appear on the wall overlooking the city. The hands are not looking quite as manicured as they were 24 hours earlier. Very slowly an arm appears over the top and Polidari drags himself back into the appartment.
Now where did I put my ?
