Yes - alas, the flat I would have to myself has a no pets policy.
And I have a third interesting lead. The friend of a coworker is looking for a lodger. She sounds like a really interesting lady (hootooer material), but is hesitant about taking anyone in because she doesn't want to end up with a psychopath. She lives just a few streets over from where I am now, will go talk to her soon.
