Das Christkind! It's Jasus himself, although I didn't realize that as a child, I was never sure whether it's male or female... and somehow I'm still not sure... well... it looks like a little angel and brings presents and the tree on christmas eve (the 24th, not the 25th!)

Tavaron!!! Quick Look!!!! You're on the 5 Busiest conversations list!!!
Well done! Quite an achievement
So, you get two sets of pressies in Austria? Well, anyway, this year, I'm thinking of persuading my family to have a Christmas that encompasses traditions from all over Europe, you know, Xmas tree German style, Christmas Eve Austrian style
congrats again!
Ps. J*a*sus the c*rist child

Thanks!
Must be very calm out there in the hootooverse...
No, we only get presents on the 24th, not on the 25th. But you could have a double christmas!
Just a typo

quite an amusing one though. We used to call someone Jeebus- can't remember why...Long story, now I come to think of it. We also gave someone the role of God and the role of the Devil- but they were all really great mates really. Funnily enough, the one whom, we'd dubbed God was much more responsive than the others...
No! Don't be so modest!
Oh, never mind.. but you're right- just as long as I don't make it obvious what the new traditions imply, I might get away with it...

At school we called the toilet our temple and when we went there we said we'd go praying
You really think you'll get presents twice this year? I keep my fingers crossed for you!
I'm just in the last phase of my plan, but I think I wont do the pictures today, the computer always needs so long to create them...

Actually, I'm sure that would actually be a form of etiquette adopted in some circles, just to maintain a ladies modesty! Afterall, one doesn't wish to constantly broadcast one's... private activities
Ermmm. I don't think it's going to work. I told mum and she said, yes she knows, the French do it too. I said, oh yeah. then I persevered and suggested we encorporate European Christmas into our own... she sort of murmured and turned away- plan scuppered! i think I was pushing it. afterall, my b'day is in the same time=period, so I already have a double Xmas!
Well done! is it a relief, or do you like doing it? i hate starting projects, but I miss them..a bit... when they're finished

Yes, it was always "Where are you going?" "Praying"
Your mum doesn't like it?
Oh, you are poor having birthday near christmas... it's a pity. Which day is it?
Oh yes, it's a relif, and I don't think I'll have any time to miss it.

the crowd wasn't too happy about it though. there were definately more Norwegian fans and the Brits seemed to be supporting the underdog, while Germany were the favourites.
The score was 3-1! However, we all missed the first goal because...well, because of me The arrival of the second one saved my life

Thought you might like this. It's an extract from an interview with Mike Newell, BRITISH director of GOF (sorry, I just think we stand a chance this time,if it's a Brit and not an american)These are the important bits, relevant to what we've been talking about.
BC: Who decides what to leave out of the movie and what to change from the book so that it works in the movie.
MN: "This is a very difficult matter and is worked out in huge discussions between representatives of Warner Bros, the scriptwriter, the producer, the director, and sometimes J.K. Rowling. It takes a long time, and while it's happening you constantly seesaw back and forth on certain things- Dobby should be in, Dobby should be out, Dobby should be in, Dobby should be out-and so forth. After a while, everybody gets a feel for what would work in a movie as opposed to what works in a novel."
BC: In all the other movies, Hermione is not as plain, big toothed or bushy haired as she is in the books. In the book, nobody recognizes Hermione at the Yule Ball because she is so dressed up and beautiful. Is there going to be alot of time spent on that?
MN: "I think Emma Watson is a pretty girl, but I don't think she is super model beautiful. She's just like a real ordinary person. When she goes to the ball, we've made her look as beautiful and stylish as we knew how but still recognisably herself. We don't spend a huge amount of time on it, but the way she looks does very much surprise Harry and Ron. And she's very excited to be invited by the Quidditch hero, Viktor Krum. He takes a real shine to her, and it's a very sweet relationship even though Ron is tortured with jealousy
As far as Hermione goes, he can't undo the mistakes of previous films, but...hey!

I think that was just a passing example, don't get too worried...
Well, if Dobby's not in, then neither's the House-Elf Liberation Front, aka SPEW, and neither is the Kitchen, and then there's much less of Winky... and of course, he can't help Harry in the Second Task... He is ESSENTIAL to the plot!
I'm sure Mike wouldn't dream of cutting him... would he?

You mean: He'd better not!
(anger becomes undermined by incorrect grammer,, which is probably why no-one takes me seriously)
