It is impossible to do that now, as I have been in a wheelchair for nearly eleven years.
But honestly, I suffer no pain - my wheelchair has made me immune to that. and what a wonderful life it has given to me.
Apart from the walls of my flat, with whom I come into continual contact.....! Fortunately when I moved in, some very kind builders put special metal protections around each corer of the flat which means that the roof has not fallen onto my head.!!
I have a magnificent bath chair - electrically operated - which means that every day I can sink into a deep wonderfully warm bath which sooths the joints, and hence eliminates the pain.
I am so lucky. The only thing which is worrying now is that my sight is disappearing fast. But I believe that my computer has got some sound effects, so I must quickly get some lessons as to where these are situated so that those of you who are kind enough to write to me can still be my friends.
I still love life, people, memories, lovely creamy cakes, and most of all A certain dark chocolate. I let the squares melt on my tongue. From this you will realise that I really am quite a gourmet amd probably a gourmande....!!
I love my verandah garden, I love my darling family, so faithul and loving, and my son Keith who daily is gaining in confidence and is now practically looking after me.
I can still get very upset about injustice....so have my daily dose of agitation each time I listen to many of the news bulletins......
I still love motor car racing, swimming,and watching cricket and tennis.
La vie is good......
