Maybe the people packing the boxes accidentally or purposfully messed up and put a plastic spork in one of the boxes instead of a titanium and shipped it with a plastic spork in place of one of the 
titanium ones and I had to be the lucky one to get it
I guess I don't have to worry about it anymore because now I have one of these really really titanium sporks
