I am single, thirty something woman from Niagara Region, Canada living with my two cats, and guinea pig in our own little make shift paradise.
At night one or both of them is usually some where close by watching me write while the other does laps around the apartment or tries to steal my pen, while I am using it! 
I joined H2G2 not only because I have always loved HHG but because I was looking for a place to get more into writing and well BBC came up as a suggested site and here I am. 
I LOVE Victoriana, Steampunk, Science Fiction, Fantasy and the like.
I am very big into studying people, religion, civilization, history, and all things geek related. 
I have mild cerebral palsy and use a cane [more often then I use my wheelchair] but don't let that scare you off I hit people with it more then anything lol.
I read a lot. I am in the process of 2 book challenges
Rory Gilmore Book Project as well as a general challenge. Picking a minimum of 52 books to read this year. I read a lot of religion, and philosophy, especially books revolving around Islam, Rumi and Buddhism.

- Galileo's Daughter - Dava Sobel
Gate Keeper Chronicles My own site. I love
music - everything from classical, to opera and industrial.
I also love foreign music, as much as movies, and plays. I am always looking for something new to learn and love creative and interesting people.
My favourite television shows are The Big Bang Theory [I
Sheldon!] Gilmore Girls, Firefly, BSG and The Tudors.
The Other things
I love hockey it is the one sport that I really get into.I am one of those people that will cancel plans if there is a game on. What can I say. I am Canadian Lol.
