Raukodraug is so lucky to have people talking to him about seti! I only hope we don't overwhelm him in our enthusiasm!
There's not one person I know {except on hootoo} who does seti@home, none of my friends or family, they all think I'm
They won't if I find !!!

You definitely *ARE* , AGB, that's why we like you that much !!!
Just keep in mind: Giordano Bruno was the big weirdo 1st class of his time
Any idea that stretches out sufficiently far beyond the horizon of what is called common sense at a specific time qualifies the person who follows this idea as officially .
So you're in best company ...

If you continue brunching units at your current speed, you will reach the 1000 on June 10th this year, just by the way. I should be there on April 4th, but I guess my machine will be off from March 23rd to April 4th (off on holidays! YAY!!).
So it will rather be mid-April, I guess ...

Can't you leave it running and set it to send off the units automatially?
Where are you going on Holiday?

I wish I had switched fully to the cli version of seti a long time ago. I am doing between 4 and 6 units a day now, and could have been doing so for months

The command line interface, rather than the screensaver. I can't access the seti site to show you the proper download.
Because it does not process teh screensaver part it is a lot more effecient.

... or even better, the Linux client!
With the screensaver version I crunched app. 1 unit per day. I turned the screensaver off and did app. 2 units a day. Then I switched my machine to Linux and now I have an average of almost 3 units per day (with unchanged hardware!!)

I'm *so* impressed with you lot
I'm still crunching 2 a day, and happy with that!
With my previous machine I was only doing 2 a week
*glad Jimi X is already ahead of me*

Sorry, AGB, for posting a question and not waiting for the answer, but if both children decide that it's time to wake up and to begin the day (at 1 AM!!!) it's better to run before it's too late ...
