Celibacy & The Afterlife...
Matthew Kershaw Posted Sep 27, 2000
I suggest you might like to get a 'move on' in the conquest stakes, as you might end up in my position...
Being dead really, really seriously hampers your ability to do something about the mauw that is known as celibacy...
What with being purely metaphysical, inaudible & intangible... all the really naughty stuff becomes off-limits...
You might like to say the phrase 'I'm so sad, I've got nobody to call my own...'
But, compared to the phrase 'I'm so sad, I've got NO BODY to call my own... '. That's when you know you are really going to have to be creative with your 'pick-up' lines...
It is also worth noting that if you follow the likes of Christianity, that you do end up solely a 'soul'. So, the likelihood of engaging in carnal knowledge or any other risque activity that requires a lot of prodding, sucking or lubricating, range somewhere on the boundries of improbability, if not impossibility...
Indeed, being someone who was not particularly 'tactile' in life has been a positive boon in the afterlife...
So, unless you have basically had a lifetime 'foundation course' in celibacy, I doubt whether you have the disciple needed in the afterlife...
So may I suggest you take up Buddism A.S.A.P, because the naughtier you are in life, the more chance of you returning to the delights of animalistic, guilt free sex...

You are so right GB.
Although I believe in reincarnation, so I just meant about getting plenty of sex.

Do you mean it was a revenge shag, DD?

Two celibacy forums? Does this mean there are two different kinds, or that there are so many celibate people that they wont all fit in one tread?
Although looking at the people here, I would say that only half of you are celibate at all. lol.
I have been "celibate" since the weekend... doh...
But its nearly the weekend again.

I've decided to give up moaning about being celibate, because otherwise people are just going to get bad vibes and be instantly put off.
So the agenda I've sert myself is to go out, enjoy myself, flirt continuously, not look miserable and don't try to pull (as it's the trying that backfires).
I think you go out and do the same M.K. whether you're dead or not.

Good thinking, Croz.
Actually, this post was more to get the updates on my page than to say anything intelligent.

Hello, my sexually deprived friends... if all goes well, this time next week I should be having sex...
The late M.K.: I suggest you read "Last Human", and the rest of the Red Dwarf novels. Rimmer's dead - he gets sex. Sample chat up line: "please have sex with me, I'm dead"...

*hugs everyone, especially Croz*
The thought of going another 1000 posts is too depressing. I need a light at the end of the tunnel, hopefully not of the ethereal afterlife kind.

Jim, make sure you draw the curtains as it looks like BS and his trusty camcorder will be paying you a visit
