Bopping the night away!
Shirps Posted Dec 9, 2000
I'm trying (very trying as Rrr keeps saying!!) very hard, but now I am down to an absolute max. of 8 per day & only when I am out (or out of the bathroom window with the extractor fan on!!!) Not in front of Rrrr, so things are getting better!!! Sometimes I light one up for the sake of it & then think ..... why? Hey ho, I reckon I'm trying to rebel (never managed to when I was younger - except for a few "roll-up", but that was when I was married, can't aford it now - it would help with the pain now but then ...). All this non-smokers & Britain is trying to be like the US: no smoking here , no smoking there. On the plus point, yes I should give up completely - I'm working on it & WILL get there - with diabetes i've been told by a really dishy anethnatist (spelling compl. wrong!) that I'll either end up with no legs or I'm committing suicide. So on that note I should be really sensible, but hey that "rebel" thing keeps on popping out!!!
Pierce, believe me, when Rrrr goes away I really enjoy a night on my own: to do what I wish: snore, grunt, kick my legs, have the electric blanket on all night, moan about past amours - need i say more
Well, on a final note "HIPPO BIRDIE 2 EWE, HIPPO BIRDE 2 EWE, HIPPO BIRDIE 2EWEoooooo, HIPPOS BIRDIE 2 EWE.

Hippo Birdie? I like that
Shirps, I aint gonna tell you nothing about no smoking 'caus I can hear you already know it all. You are the only one who can pull yourself together.
Fortune cookie says: Why spent time alone in bed moaning about past amours when there's plenty of fish in the sea?

Copied from my journal entry dated 13/12/00:
THAT WAS BRILLIANT!!!!!! ME AND MY FRIEND WENT TOTALLY HYPER FROM THE MOMENT THEIR NAME CAME ON THE BIG SCREEN TO THE MOMENT THEY LEFT THE STAGE!!!!!!!!!
First they had a build up as you wondered who the next artist was, all the lights had gone out and all you could see were the big screens at the front by the stage, then "Skandal" came up on the big screen, rotating, and it said "www.skandal.net" underneath. The lights then faded on and they were there on stage!!!! They then started singing "Tell Me Cinderella", to which the whole arena went crazy to (well, it was only half full at that point). Then towards the end of the song all the lights went out and all you could see were their glow-in-the-dark sticks, and EVERYONE was screaming!
They then did their first new song, "Ghetto Escape", then "Footloose", to which they all wear cowboy hats!!! (OMG and did they look CUTE!!!!!!). Then finally, they sung "Champagne Highway", rockin da house!!!!!! Me and my 2 friends (Marrianne and Natalie), went CRAZY and sang along to it the whole way through!!!!!!
What we want to know is, Darren, WHY were you wearing a top with "Brixton" on it? You're at WEMBLEY remember!!!!!! And Matty, please please please grow your hair back!!!! I know you're a serious Robbie wanabe but Robbie isn't a skin-head at the moment is he? (well, I dunno). James, what happened to the combats? We thought you lived in them! Are jeans the new you then? And Matt, hmmm what can we say about you? You blended in and wore the same as usual.........And, we saw Fletch!! (Skandal's tour manager), who gave us a quick thumbs up for our banner!!!!!
But we can't forget this was supposed to be a 5IVE concert, and yes, they were brilliant too!!! They even had a live band backing them! Oooh I think I might just see them on their next tour, they are a VERY good band!!!!

I know you are always right, Pandora - but when did I ever give you a couch? I may have offered you a night in my bed or a roll in the hay or whatever. I just don't remember ever giving you a couch???
Oh, well. Truth is I don't remember very much anyway. Not from yesterdays Xmas-party at work, that's for sure! Don't even remember how I got home!
Must have been a great party that, no?
Bopping the night away!
Pandora Posted Dec 15, 2000
Haven't you seen your nude pictures on the internet from that party?!?
Er, at the Pub...you gave me a blue goo couch...then tried to place me under it so you & Sultandude would have room to sit. Hey, if you two want to be alone, just say so. I don't want to be where I'm not wanted." *sniff* "No, really, just say the word & I'll be gone forever." *looks out the corner of one eye as she pretends to pout*

Pandora Posted Dec 17, 2000
I'm really glad Skandal are 'live'!
Shall we name the gull Jothathan Livingston? After the book? If you've not read it...get thee to the library & read it...then you can write a report at school that will wow your teachers!
