"Would you chaps be wanting that pig: RAW or BURNT? I keep trying to tell Pierce that I'm NOT a domestic. But I do think repairing the window is in order. And let's not forget to compliment me on my fine marksmanship! (Pierce this is lesson 175...how women want to be treated) And to think, you WERE doing so well! No matter....there's a grill in the garage... double burners, & a side grill. See what the cat's dragged in for side dishes. Bon Appitite, my pig eating friends." *tosses another log onto the fire place*

Hey, I never suggested that YOU should cook for us, Pandora! (You know what they say: Never trust a skinny (or, in your case obviously: a slim) chef!)
And I never mistrusted you marksmanship in the first place. After all: Who asked you (and very politely, I might add!) to shoot?
Now that the window is repaired and I've managed to grill the kill I suggest we eat it. I'll have a wing, as I mentioned earlier (never ate a pigs wing before, you see). Somebody pass me the mustard, please. And a helluvalot of , there's a good lad or lass (whoever comes first)!
What are you waiting for? Dig in!

Pandora Posted Nov 26, 2000
Er, Shirps, thank you for stepping in to help the lads with their meal...I can't eat my friends...and animals are my friends! Now clear that mess from the grill, & I'll make us normal (well normal for h2g2) folks a nice grilled pizza!
It is nice to have the window repaired, as the snow has turned to rain. Here's a nice bottle of dark rum...there's also a nice white wine chilling in the fridge, I do believe the pig would be considerd white meat (gag) therefore a white wine is in order. I think I'll have a dry merlot with the pizza...pick your posin.....

Go ahead, love, grill your compost if you must!
I am not sure a pig would be considered white meat. But you should always serve white wine with poultry. And a flying pig must be - er, well, never mind...
Let's cut through the argument and settle for the dark rum - as in . Cheers!

That remark, Katsy, at this present moment in time is NOT funny.

Easy now, boys and girls. Don't be too hard on Katsy. She can't possibly have read all of the backlog and thus doesn't know that Bobs sister is slowly dying.
Now that she knows she is probably devastated because of her last posting. Well, we all would, wouldn't we?
So there.
Face it, Katsy, you put your foot in. But that happens to all of us (yes, it most certainly has happened to me. Many times. And still does). Fact of life. Live with it.
Bob, I wish the best for your sister, yourself, your family and friends. I know it's hard. Believe me. I've been there - more than once.
To both of you and the rest of you (including myself): How many times have we told sick and silly jokes about death & diseases - not meaning anything by it? This will not stop just because we suddenly encounter the real thing. And I'm not even sure it should. Humor can be a way out of dire straits, among other things.
Hope this did not sound too political correct
love & peace all around!
