Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Jan 9, 2001
There's a red moon over yonder
were my loved one sleeps tonight
she is sleeping all alone now
since she couldn't be my bride
Now _there's_ male guilt for you!

Shirps Posted Jan 9, 2001
Katsy, been to your page, Wonderful pic. of the moon - but c'mon now that wasn't tonight's eclipse was it?
Pierce, you old (sorry, not personal!) romantic. Now tell us, why the male guilt on this - story you have to tell?
Love the prose.

Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Jan 10, 2001
I went out to look at the moon last night - and all I could see was a blood orange...
No really, it was pretty - to say the least!
Guess I'll have to admit that I'm an old - as well as hopeless - romatic, Shirps.
As for the male guilt: If a male seduced a lady and (shortly) afterwards told her she could not be his bride he ought to feel at least some guilt, dont you think?
Not that I ever did anything like that of course...

Here it was a sort of pink-grey at the bottom, grey in the middle and white at the top! I'm going to draw it (hopefully) for my GCSE art final exam piece next year!!!!
LOL they're ringing up answerphones on Essex FM that they've heard are wacky and I recommended mine and they phoned it up live on air on Monday! They were doing it again today and someone rung up saying they got Skandal to do their one, and it was soooo funny! At first it sounds like Matty, but by the end it's definately James........it was a bit faint but it sounded like "hello? Dont you want to talk to me? Please talk to me! It won't be fair if you dont talk to me! Please talk to me! Arent you going to? Oh ok if you won't you might as well leave a message after the tone....." Well, she did warn they sounded a bit silly in the greeting!

Hi all
Off to the coast tomorrow, so won't be in touch till next weekend.
Pierce, I don't believe you could be that cruel, but tell me of a man that wouldn't take the opportunity, a "gentleman" perhaps. Even then, sometimes I reckon they are the worst!! But hey, don't feel guilty about it now - it's a bit late & what is done is done. Be happy
Katsy, is your art teacher good? Does she let you, within reason, do your own thing? Or does she say it has to be "her" way? I understand that the course has to be followed, but I hear of so many professional artists, as well as beginners, that lost their imaginative way of painting because of their art teacher. Don't let that happen to you. Is art your fav. subject? Just enquiring, don't mean to be nosy!!
Take care - "see" you all soon.

"Aurora Borealis
the icy sky at night
paddles cut the water
in a scared and hurried flight..."
(Neil Young)
...no, it not "scared" - what is it? Can't remember. Ah, well.
We had northern lights in Denmark last winter - for the first time in ages - and I missed it
Eclipse of the moon
Katsy a.k.a. Esti Posted Jan 15, 2001
I always wanted to see the northern lights!
Art is my second fave subject, but only just, cos textiles just creeps that slight bit ahead of it!
MY BIRTHDAY THIS SATURDAY!!!!!! WOOOOOOPEEEEEE I'M GONNA BE 15 AT LONG LAST!!!

Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Jan 16, 2001
So what do you want for birthday, girl?
...apart from getting older and some new hairdye and the latest in fashion textiles
- and a couple of Skandals, of course

LOL, my friend texted me the other day saying "What do you want as a gift? (I'm really sorry but I can not get James)" to which I replied it was very unfair cos that's all I want!!!
Ah well, so far I'm getting CD's galore, but any accessories such as those spikey wrist bands or the chains you can hang out of your pockets would be nice

CHAMPAGNE!!!!!! YAY WE CAN GO ON A CHAMPAGNE HIGHWAY!!!!! Sorry, you knew it was coming
I got an e-card today, and my friend bought me a CD as a birthday prezzie: Bryan Adams "The Best Of Me", and it's FAB!!! Some of the "classics" if you've heard them are Summer of '69, Run To You, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, When You're Gone, Cloud #9, Please Forgive Me......the list goes on, and they are lovely!!!!!! Tell me if you've heard of "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" cos it's soooo nice!!!! "Look into my eyes, and you will see, what you mean to me..........you know it's true, everything I do, I do it for yooooouu".

"Summer of '69" is my own story - so that song always gets me, even though BA is not really my cup of tea.
Aye, I AM a old hopeless nostalgic romatic
...well, aging, anyway
PS: If I cannot be around here tomorrow: Have a really nice b-day, Katsy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATSY!!!! Here's your very own blow-up doll of James! (there's a few bottles of bubbley abound back getting a nice chill...thrid tree from the back of the house just under some leaves)
Hey, I bet you could SELL dolls that look like the Skandal chaps!!!! Now there's a money making idea!
I've been calling local radio stations asking them to play Skandal....what do you mean you never heard of them? Man, you'd best get with the program!!! I've been having fun asking for Skandal to be played.....one DJ said he'd meet me after work & we could REALLY start a scandal....
Oh & last...but not least.....here's some purple stuff for your hair!!!!
XXXXXXOOOOXXXXXX~Pan

Katsy a.k.a. Esti Posted Jan 21, 2001
Awwww cheers!!! That's cool you're phoning the radio stations!!! In the UK I heard rumours the DJ's made fun of them, only to discover they were the only people who didn't like Skandal!! Out of order!!!! The only place they played it all the time was Essex FM cos the DJ's had been friends with them since they started out, and did a lot of roadshows with them so they were happy to do so! Brooksie (an Essex FM DJ) promised me as a prezzie he's gonna play Champagne Highway on his show early next week!
I found a couple of the girls at my party had Matty's number, so they were passing it round, except I refused to be given it cos I'd never phone him anyway! Then they decided to phone him from our home phone, first they kept getting his answerphone and left a few messages, then they phoned him again and he answered, and the girl on the phone had just left a message begging him to phone her and left her number, and he got really annoyed apparently, and I don't blame him either! I hope he doesn't find out that's my number there! It's funny cos one of my other friends who was there this evening clames yesterday evening (Friday) she phoned him, shocked that he answered she asked if "Dean" was there, then he said no, she didn't hang up, he asked if she was still there, she said yeah, then he asked if she was a fan, she admitted it, and apparently they chatted for about half an hour!!! Then early this morning (around 5am) he sent her a text message telling her to wake up! Weird........

Pandora Posted Jan 21, 2001
If I were you, I'd get any type of Skandal anything I could get my hands on, because one day....everything you collect will have great value.....I do believe these chaps are going to make it VERY big! Always collect in 3's...2 to sell & 1 to keep! For some reason, pairs of things are worth the most. And when you're an old woman...like me you'll have some really cool stuff from your youth PLUS you'll be able to make lots of money, without having to get rid of EVERYTHING! (this has been a financial
disaster drill...if this had been a real diaster, you would be up the creek without a paddle as you have nothing of value to sell-YET)
Katsys b-day!
Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Jan 21, 2001
Happy birthday, Katsy! I know I'm late, but I mean it anyway (please note I only kissed her on her cheek, I know I'm way too old for her )
Speaking of age: Pandora "an old woman...like me"? Cut the crap! No woman is too old! Women don't get old. They just get ripe!
PS: Where was that again?
