Katsy, I had to laugh...the day after you swore you could be tortured & you'd never give my address...I receive an E-mail fron your friend with regard to the Scandal vidieo! LOL!!! ( I know there's a difference between giving my location,
name, etc. to the fellows who are after me...but it did crack me up! It dosen't take bodily harm to get information from you...just the thought of seeing ...you know who!!! LOL!!! BTW I had a house full of people & nealry everyone signed your frind's petition to see the skandal vidio....some of the men refused...couldn't be bothered & wouldn't give us gals their permission to sign their names...still, we got about 16 or 17 people to sign!

My muscle disease has jumped up & taken a huge bite outta' my body this week...so, if I don't get back right away it means my whimpy Dr. has actually given me a GOOD pain killer He's wanting to stick me in the hospital...but I won't go! I'm not as happy as I was yesterday. I was going to a roadshow next Wednesday and meeting Skandal again, but it got cancelled boo hoo! I have to see them again, I love them all so much! Never mind, at least I'm seeing them Sunday, and we're gonna be at the very front of a 30,000 strong crowd and they'll notice us cos we're gonna be holding up a banner saying "big up for da Skandal massif!", and last time I was in the front row of a Skandal gig my fave member brushed hands with everyone in thr front row, apart from me cos I was on the very end and it would have been dangerous for him to reach out that far! (probably cos I would have grabbed him LOL!) Never mind, I still got to meet him afterwards! They've been in the local newspapers this week about this concert I'm going to.
Another highlight of when I saw them and I was in the front row was when Matty (I think it was him I can't remember, if not it was James!) dangled his coat above us as if he was gonna give it to us, but then growled "you're not 'avin' it!" and snatched it back in! My friend was in hysterics!

Oh and can I stress again it's SKANDAL not Scandal! They spell it with a "K"! That was James' idea! BTW My friend has set up a Skandal shrine in my name at http://www.geocities.com/ally_uk_1999/skandal.html I think the captions are very funny! (and the pics are HOT!)

OK, maybe they're not "quite" correct - but everyone has great fun (& they raise lots of cash for good causes!!). Actually, the ECWS was an offshoot of the Sealed Knot, this was to make battles & living histories alot more accurate & authentic (the SK were still fighting wearing jeans under their uniforms - they have now improved alot!)

I don't take part anymore (haven't for some years), basically camping gave me too much "boneache"!! But I've some really good memories & tons of photos!

Always wanted my ears pierced at the top so I could wear a chain from top of ear to either of the piercings on the bottom - if you see what I mean! However, Liz had an ear pierced at the top & oh boy, what a mess together with pain - it kinda put me off!! Her hole has now closed up - she couldn't be doing with it! I still long for a Bjoran (I know I've spelt that completely wrong!!), i.e. Deep Space Nine, look.

OK, so I'm a coward - together with the p.ears, I've always wanted a tatoo, but I try to imagine what I'd look like when I'm old & wrinkled - so is the tattoo - not a pretty sight. I suppose: who cares when you're that age!!
I'm afraid I fake it - stick on ones that last about 5 days, but at least I get variety!!!

OK, so at last I've sort of caught up!! Crikey Pandora - come back will you - I've just got to speak to you about everything & I feel so guilty 'bout not getting back to you sooner - "....." art club - I've been trying to get all bookings & workshops sorted for year this Sept to June - still not finished, but getting there. Liz has gone driving all round the country, it seems, birthdays, weddings, etc., etc., she'll be back tomorrow (Thursday) then off to Thailand real early on Monday morning. She & her boyfriend have worked all summer (she at a supermarket) to save up for this 3 week holiday before they resume studies for one thing or another. Tell you about what she's about to embark on when you get back to us!!

I'm still downing the wine - had a variety while I was away at the coast - needed it at the beginning - it was a little chilly, but soon warmed up. Not loads of sun, but one day I went walking along the coast when it was sunny & came back slightly bright red - it's the salty wind you know!!!

We hope to go back there for the month of October & for a couple of days in Sept to catch up on decorating & repairs (together with walking the dog along the beach, so the little minx can swim in the sea - she actually threw her ball in the sea so she could go in after it!!

Oh...here's a sad thing...the Doc said,"There's no way in H--- you're going on Safari or any place else!" Seems to think I won't fare well...& he's who I'd have to get my shots from...he's in charge of the local Health Dept.! (holds back the tears) He also reminded me that he's the local (I don't know how the word at the moment) guy that cuts you open to do the atopsy. (getting sleepy)
And, knowing me, as he does...he's notifing the State Health Dept. so, I can't sneak off & re-new my Visa! I say Poo! ~ G-nite!
