"Borrow-a-Dog" would be a great name for a company that lends dogs for short-term purposes. Since such a company doesn't exist, maybe you could suggest it to the local shelter.

I don't know about other countries, but German shelters are always looking for volunteers who walk their dogs on a regular basis.

That may be worth considering Yareau - it sort of started out as a joke, but maybe I should look into it. I got my last two dogs as 'rescues'.

I wish my teeth were whiter... but with all the coffee Idrink... plus smoking... I mean, its probably not right to have teeth that are a darker shade of white than my pale skin
I'm away at the moment at my Dads... we had a huge BBQ last night... well there were only three humans and one dog, but the amount of butchered bits of animals from our local butcher we got through was quite staggering
Pork sausages pork and leek sausages, lamb burgers, beef burgers plus we made up a nice greek salad and bread rolls, plus relish and such like...
With strawberries and cream afterwards...
I had a fight with the dog over the last sausage... we ended up with about half each...
I had one and a half crumpets with butter for breckfast today.
It might seem an odd number of crumpets to have... I did toast two... but the dog looked so hungry... we shared the last one of the two
and now...
I just had to go hunt for the dog as she'd gone missing...
she's asleep on my bed, her head on the pillows....
and somehow she's pulled the duvet on top of herself so all you see is her head on the pillows
Not sure what is for dinner tonight... I see some leftover cream in the fridge, and I think* there may be some strawberries hiding somewhere

so glad that normality has been resumed. Is it time for ? after all there is some sort of tennis match going on somewhere

I oughta get a shower soon... not long to dinner time, and not long to strawberry time... also not that* long until beer time

Today is my cook-the-food-I-will-eat-next-week day. Your talk about strawberries has made me wonder why I didn't put strawberries into any of the things I cooked.

Chickem gousah, check. Pork with beans and cabbage, check. Antepasto plate, check. Curried tuna calzone, check. Chocolate applesauce cake, check. But never thought of strawberries. This is about the time when fresh strawberries should be ripe out in the fields....

I'm hungry already... and its hours* until dinner not sure waht we'll be having tonight.... May suggest a meal out or perhaps a Chinese takeaway or some such... hmmm.... maybe...

Maybe this isn't a great thread to be in, then, because it will keep rmeinding you of the food you would like to have.

well - we just had delicious Spring Lamb with baby new potatoes and mint sauce made from fresh mint from the garden, followed by my mum's homemade apple pie.
