The voice of cynicism inside my head tells me that it's not the half of the world run by idiots we should worry about - it's the percentage of plain evil, conniving and self-aggrandising politicians that make this world a poorer place.

Not that *all* politicians fall into this category, just that some do and they stop me believing most things any of them say.

There are so many of the evil ones that most islands ("isolated" comes from the root word for island, by the way ) would be too small to fit them all. But maybe crowding should be part of their ounishment.
