Why not join Mari-Rae, Pierce, Pan, Sultandude and myself at http://www.h2g2.com/F35772?thread=53832&post=790749 It's a wee bit quiet at the moment due to the holidays, but we'd be pleased to have you join us. 8-)

You should know as a parent that us mothers are used to being in three places at once! smiley - tongueout

No problemo! smiley - bigeyes Even between postings, in real life I'm emptying the dishwasher, getting my son's breakfast and making copious amounts of tea. smiley - smiley

So, did you all enjoy Crimbo and are Deb and Rebecca pleased to have you home? How long have you got before you have to depart again? When are you going to put some recent family pics up at Shazz's Friends again? There! That stream of questions should keep you quiet for a while! *Grins*

We had a lovely quiet and cosy Crimbo and John's mum stayed over for three nights. It's snowed here and is f-f-freezing but we've also had brilliant sunshine (with a bitterly cold wind though) and I took Christopher out on his sledge yesterday. He had a wonderful time and I haven't laughed so much in ages as he couldn't stop and had one of our dogs, Spike chasing him at the same time! smiley - smiley

I should be able to send a new pic when i go back to work on tuesday. Back down to Melbourne monday to friday until the end of Feb now smiley - sadface Thankfully Rebecca seems to recognise me when i come home, although poor Zac misses his morning walks.

xmas was good, although busy. 10 people over on xmas eve and then 5 of us for xmas dinner. Boiling hot it was too, thankfully it has cooled down now...although perhaps a bit too much. Nothing like over there though !!!

I remember when we lived in NZ (Hibiscus Coast) that spending Christmas/New Years Day on the beach seemed strange and not quite "right". As for doing my Crimbo shopping, seeing snow and decorations in shop windows, listening to carols and seeing Santa in shorts and jandles really confused me! smiley - bigeyes

I'm glad that Rebecca still recognises her daddy. It must be awful for you to have to work away and very tough on Deb! smiley - sadface

Sorry to hear about Zac missing his walkies. My three are still waiting for their walk as it's like an ice rink outside and I'm hoping that it'll thaw a bit first. I expect Christopher will want to come with me too... smiley - bigeyes

I have to go now. It's been fun bumping in to you on line and if I don't catch you before, have a really good New Year. smiley - smiley

T'was one of Pan's old conversations...Pan asked that I leave messages in a couple of conversations on her page with her friends on her behalf, which is what I think you must have noticed. smiley - smiley

The good news is that Peta is Emailing Pan her password which she'd forgotten so all being well, she should be back very soon. smiley - biggrin

How's the job hunting going?

That's what I like to hear - enthusiasm! smiley - cool

I'm away for a few days to live with my mum-in-law who comes home from hospital today having had a hip replacement operation, so I won't be around for a while.

*Shudders at the muddle her hubby John will make of looking after the kids, dogs (who won't be walked so there'll be mounds of doggie poop in the garden to clear up) and house*

LOL! Poor old John doesn't even know how to use the dish washer and washing machine! smiley - biggrin

"See" you in a week or so (hopefully sooner). smiley - smooch
