When you say that you've survived the start of the rugby season, do you mean as a participant or as a drunken spectator? smiley - bigeyes

The cricket season is starting over here so my hubby John is well happy! smiley - cool

I've recently been chatting to Swiv regarding her impending holiday to Greece and reminiscing about my many happy holidays backpacking around the Greek Islands. smiley - cool Unfortunately, all it succeeded in doing was making me feel very old when I realised that I was there in the mid to late 1970's! smiley - online2long

True! smiley - biggrin Even then, there were masses of Aussies & Kiwis lurking about with their diving/snorkelling gear in tow. smiley - bigeyes

Strangely enough, I don't remember them drinking Fosters either! smiley - winkeye

I wonder whether the Greeks still call instant coffee "sic" in all their menus? Have you ever tried Greek coffee? It's thick, black and sweet and is served with a glass of cold water to wash it down with. smiley - coffee

I really miss going out to work (I used to work as a clerk in an E&D Drawing Office at about the time their first CAD was introduced and nowadays, there's not one drawing board in sight! smiley - bigeyes

Even though I work as a volunteer in the Red Cross shop two days a week and attend college the remaining three afternoons, I feel that it's not the quite the same. smiley - erm I don't know how able my autistic son, Chris will be once he's older and whether I'll be able to go out to work, but at least by then I'll have worked my way through every part-time college course available, smiley - smiley so should be able to find something that would pay enough to support our family (My hubby John is too ill to work or look after the kids during school holidays.).
