What does the bit at the right which says "View Message Box Default" mean? It isn't a link...

(I'm running IE5.0 as supplied by default with Win2000 Professional, if that helps the debugging...)

Hmm..thinking about the spirit of the staff of h2g2, probably on lunch break, that's my excuse for not working on my batch right now smiley - winkeye

yeah, I'm trying to cut back smiley - winkeye

I think that little view message box default thing is for the message. If you run your mouse cursor over it the message shows up smiley - smiley

Peet, the bit at the bottom, infact all of the buttons, can be oved over with the mouse. Each time it's moved over a button, it glows and shows a different message.
If you want to see the message at the start, when you enter the page that is, ove you mouse over that bit of text: it'll change it back...smiley - smiley

I must warn people at this point that Netscape does terrible things to my layers, so please avoid using that on my page...you can still see it, but the text overlaps itself! smiley - bigeyes

You could always get IE or Opera, Mew...whichever you'd prefer, for free... smiley - smiley

Can you use IE on a Mac? Well, I'm assuming Mew has a Mac, because surely no one would choose Netscape on purpose....smiley - winkeye

Some ISPs install it by default with their connection software...

Mew, try Netscape 6 PR2 - it's not too big a download (45 minutes or so) and it's a *lot* more standards-compliant than NS4.x smiley - winkeye
