Another service unavailable day yesterday, and I forgot to copy the data for the record high and low temperatures and the daily temperature forecasts, but I've found a place that has the high and low records for every day of the year in Austin, although I'm not sure how up to date it is - it doesn't show the 112° day from August 2011.

And it bloody well did too. Started pouring down about five minutes before I had to leave, eased off a bit for a minute or two lulling me into a false sense of security, then started belting down again as I was walking out the door. By the time I got to the bus stop five minutes later it had all but stopped, and when I was walking from the bus stop to work there was clear blue sky.

All the rain missed us here. We didn't even get a trace. I could see dark clouds to the north of us while walking the dog, but when I checked the radar they must have been at least 40 miles north of us.
