I'm thinking of buying an iPad mini smiley - smiley

I already have an iPad 2, which has my books in, the problem is that my other half has commandeered the pad, loves it, and now uses it ALL the time, so I was thinking of making the 2nd purchase....

So, my question is, will I be able to 'share' my library in the new iPad mini, or will I have to start another collection off?smiley - erm

Thanking you in anticipation smiley - cheerup

Sounds to me that your other half should be the one choosing his new toy, and turn your one back to you smiley - biggrin
Other than that, I have no experience with any iThings - except an iPaq which was a HP thing, before apple got big on iThings.

A scaled down smartphone without the phone part smiley - biggrin - calendar, notes, a few games, synching emails with the computer. But only when connected by wire. No telephone functionality, no wireless, not much anything... and 15 years ago... smiley - senior

Glad to assist with problem solving though smiley - laugh

You can call me TC

I'd go for a new one and let hubbie keep the old one. There probably is a geeky way round sharing files. If it's a Kindle, aren't your books stored in your accout, or in a cloud or something, so you can access them anyhow anywhere?

Hubby bought me a new kindle for Christmas. I still have access to my books in the cloud, and I can sync whichever book I am reading from one kindle book to the other!

I still use my iPaq every day.

It runs Windoze 2003 so I guess it is 10 years old.

I probably ought to upgrade to a paper diary. Or use my phone and stop carrying the battered old bugger around.

Or just buy a felt tip pen and write on your hand.
You can get those little towelettes from KFC to use
as your 'delete' function when you need more space.

But IF already HAVE the iPaq. Buying a pen and / or notepad would add to my costs and put my next holiday back some!

Although IT could always go to Argos (a UK catalogue based shop) and nick some of their tiny pens.
