Did no-one here have immense fun as youngsters in a sand pit?
Maybe I should start a FB group about the positivity of pits?

my kids have a sand pit
they have a play house on stilts, so i nailed some planks between the legs and filled it with sand, building sand, because it makes better sand castles, every year i get 5 or 6 bags of sand to refill it

I could never see the attraction of sand pits
Noohootoo is going to be an interesting journey isnt it. After the initial shock I am quite looking forward to it. A clean broom.

Sand pits aren't something to see the attraction of...you just get stuck in.

I remember there being a nice natural sand pit amongst my grandpa's cranberry bogs--my then-stepsisters and I had fun digging out miniature cities in the not-quite-sandstone sides...
I like Vip's idea of a button alongside the yikes button--not to hide a post, but to bring it to the mod's attention as part of a pattern. Maybe call it a yoohoo button?

"my grandpa's cranberry bogs"
What a cool phrase. It just reminded me you're typing on the other side of the world.

Yep--flood the fields, beat the vines, and use booms to shove the berries to one side--cranberries are mostly dry, gritty bitterness wrapped around air and a few mustard-sized seeds.
Key: Complain about this post
