Noohootoo: standards of behaviour

Er people often 'died' there. I would associate with the idea of personal abuse.
No that's NOT what I'm talking about.

peanut it's a fun exploration of possibilities that we might try out. Oftentimes one can't know if something's needed or not if you don't try stuff out.
But maybe we never will.
Maybe we'll try other stuff?
Maybe we'll stay just like this for ever and ever?
And even if we get some sort of pit..you may still never understand. Such is life.

Colosseum, Forum, Arena, Bear Pit, Sin Bin, the Cage...
How about the Thunderdome.
Two trolls enter, one sock-puppet leaves.

People really can't bear to look at this as something possibly excellent and positive.
I don't get it.

That post makes a lot of sense...
I'm off to the pit bar for some civilised conversation.

No, I don't think trialing it serves any useful purpose.

I don't think insurance would be the problem. It would still be covered by the House Rules.
Effers - how about you create an A page, post the number here, and see how it goes?

I was just about to post exactly the same suggestion Vip, but you beat me to it. Effers could start her own arena - there is absolutely nothing to stop that happening right now.
Would there be an entrance fee? Side bets?

Haragai Posted Jun 18, 2011
Or call it the 'Sand Box' which would indicate playground as well as bulling-area.
Just kidding!
As long as it is clear to the visitor what's up with the place.

Haragai Posted Jun 18, 2011
Entrance fee: One rude comment, within the HR, to be payed after entry.
Side bets to be made after the first round or two.
"All right! Seconds OUT!"

Okay I'll maybe do an A number thing at some point.
I really don't see the 'pit' or whatever people want to call it eventually as something to try until we are well settled into noohootoo. It might even be a few months or years until we try it. We have no idea how things are going to go. But yes I could do entry as an idea.
To get away from the boxing and associations of something really unpleasant...maybe the entrance could have above it the famous lines above Wimbledon Centre Court..from Kipling's poem, 'If'
'If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
( Actually I probably shouldn't have mentioned 'If', if anyone has seen the 60s film of that name...)

Is what we're actually talking about more like a debating society?
Noohootoo: standards of behaviour
Effers;England. Posted Jun 18, 2011
How do you define debating society?
I could go to the Oxford Union and ask them what that was...would that relate to noohootoo?
