Robert Robinson. I remember him mostly from "Points of View", as well, of course, as "Call my Bluff".
Soon I won't be able to return to England as I knew it. It's all crumbling away.

I saw Call my Bluff on Beeb 2 only a couple of years ago - if that long ago. Not with Arthur Marshall, Frank Muir, Robert Robinson and co of course but with Sandi Toksvig and others. It still runs I think.

Mmm, according to Wikipedia it finished again in 2005 - I'm sure it was more recent that that. Doesn't time
And yes it did have Alan Coren as the other team captain which does date it right enough.

German comedian, comic writer and star of many iconic films and sketches, Victor von Bulow - known as Loriot.
Died of old age at 87 last night.

Presumably my post about the death of a German comedian (the whole country is in mourning) was pulled because of the link to a sketch. There is practically no language in the sketch at all - just a sentence at the end and the beginning. The rest is visual humour without any spoken word at all.
RIP Loriot - Victor von Bülow.
