Yes, I had been wondering. How are you feeling? Have you been sick? Are you getting fat? - but is it just all the chocolate biscuits you've been eating? And if you haven't been eating them, why not?

Everything's going very well thank you. I'm now into my twelve week of pregnancy and have my first scan lined up for next Friday, 13th October (good thing I'm not suspicious because Friday 13th is supposed to be unlucky!) I'm getting fat and out growing my size 10 clothes so I'm buying bottoms with elasticated waists. I had been feeling really tired and grumpy for the first two months but I seem to be getting over that (well now I'm just grumpy!)
If I ever figure out how to I'll post a picture of my first scan on my homepage for you all to see!

My husband maintains that, due to the hormones, women suffer from PMT throughout their pregnancy. Perhaps you had better brake it to your other half gently!!

Hi Slug! No I haven't been ill at all, I've been really very lucky. I've been eating like a pig although I gave up smoking when I found out I was pregnant so that could contribute to my appetite. Last night I realised I can no longer fit into the majority of my wardrobe (and have quite a few clothes) so that's depressing. I've also gone up a bra size - which is nice!

Don't worry about Friday the 13th, its always been a lucky day for me. When my wife started outgrowing her clothes she bought some of those pants with the elastic waist and then took my shirts.

Was just thinking, Will this be the first birth on h2g2?

A 38D? Oh that's nothing, I'm only three months gone and I'm a 36D already. If they get any bigger they're going to start to frighten me - although don't see my husband complaining!

It would be nice to post each scan photo on my home page followed by the baby itself when it's born next April. Can anybody let me know how to do this. I have a scanner at work I can use.

Am I the first pregnant H2G2 researcher to spend my complete pregnancy will the community? That's very cool!

Internet cam?! I'm sure the good people of the community don't want to see me grunting and screaming for hours on end, not to mention all the other bits (er gross!) Even my husband has said he doesn't want to see the baby actually coming out. Makes me sick just thinking of it!

2. The most wonderful and moving sight in the world is watching a baby (in fact, any mammals, but humans are the most heart-ripping) slipping out.

Ppl always talk about how beautiful a pregnant woman is, and how beautiful a birth is. Am I the only one who´d rather see a decaying corpse than a birth? It seems to me to be soo disgusting :/ But that of course doesn´t go for Tigerlily

Yep, you are probably the only person on earth who would rather look at a decaying corpse than watch a baby come into the world. Seeing the birth of a child is just THE most beautiful and spiritual thing there is. Try it once, please. I promise you it is better than decaying corpses, even if you are into necrophilia.

Yea, I have to agree with Walter, give me the hope of a life over death any day.
