Just wanted to start a thread now in case I can't later 
I survived BBCiD....
It's 3.42 (!) am London time and there's some pretty weird things going on with the h2g2 pages loading. Either they don't load and I get left with a completely blank page (no time out message) but intact URL, or they eventually load and the h2g2 and bbc banners are gone - no bicycling fish

My attempts to upgrade/switch/whatever to BBDiD have come to naught.
I keep getting:
"There has been a problem, please check your legacy_username.fieldname and legacy_user_id.fieldname."
I'm not logging off until I hear from the eds....

I've had trouble like taht for a few days now, kea. I thought it was my ISP, because nobody else seemed to have trouble.
And the sign in page didn't look any different from before.
I'll just go and chack other message boards to see if they recognise me.

Nope. It asks me to sign in:
The BBC iPlayer message board is currently closed for posting. It is open daily from 8am - 10pm
Maybe that is because it is closed?

I just got logged out. But, on clicking the 'Sign In' button I just went through the new BBC iD instead of the old h2g2 one and it worked perfectly.

I'm fine, no problems thus far.I even get to keep my name..yay!

But my name is utterly truncated, and I can't even put back "eternally free and forever untamed." "name not allowed...
- but when I took away "." (the full stop)it worked 
Weren't we to be allowed to keep our taglines?

I registered way back and registered under the name Incognitas.Not had any problems at all.

I had no trouble whatsoever logging in 
But I hope the Eds will be dealing with some of the problems others have been having above and elsewhere.

I made it! 
It was easy - I just had to agree to Terms & Conditions and it signed me in automatically. All looks fine (so far)
