Whatever strange music is in the background on the TV upstairs. It's an X-Files re-run. If I were listening to a CD, it would probably be the Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack from the motion picture, since I haven't listened to it in a while. (I love Andrew Lloyd Webber!) ^_^

Just prior to this precise moment, I was listening to some blues - in my head. It's been there all day since I heard some great playlists whilst driving around the backwater areas around Baltimore earlier today.
Right now, I'm hearing the overture from Jesus Christ Superstar - since you mentioned it. It is my absolute favorite recording.

This time it's Sacred Spirit - Chants and Dances of the Native Americans. Track is #7, Yeha Noha. It must be the Cherokee blood but this CD just does something...

Hmm... This is getting interesting:
Diablo II - Village of Tristram This is a good old time favorite, since the music is quite weird, all the quitars, flutes and violins...

I am the master
Of my destiny
The man in the mirror I see
Cannot be me
Seems just like yesterday
My life lay before me
But now I am reaching the end
What have I done?
Cheerful stuff, no?

Dead Can Dance - A Passage In Time
I've been listening to it for a while now so it's on track #15, Bird.

Type O Negative Posted Jan 4, 2001
Didn't have time to read all the posts here, but I think I got a pretty good cross-section. Surely this is an interesting question, one that could never get old like us and the music we listen to.
Although at least one person beat me to it, I'll risk accusations of unoriginality by mentioning that the music is being played inside my head. Just the one song. Over and over again. That is, until the next one comes along . . .

dai the flu
i always wondered
what it takes
fifteen stitches
and a soft parody
to make
my eyes
be like
deceit
i believe
the sting
proves heart
to me
now i know that you
love me
thank God that you
love
at all
dislocated
at the joint
timing
is everything
in the bed
cause you'll sleep
for hours
to keep
away
then sink
your teeth
and bat
your eyes
now i know that you
love me
thank God that you
love
at all
what a surprise
i was right here
going off and
going on
what a surprise
i was right here
going off and
going on
at least now i know (4x)
that you love me
thank God that you
love
at all
what surprise
i was right here
going off
and going on
