Good Morning Pandora,
How are you today.
I am not worried about Pete, I was just flirting with him . I 'm sure he doesn't have any trouble finding ladies to flirt with either.
I only need people who will love me, as I am, too late to change me now.

"Geez Moondancer, why would you WANT to change? You're swell just as you are! Why mess with perfection? As the saying goes; if it ain't broken, don't fix it!"

"Ahh Walter you say the sweetest things...dosen't he?" *speaking to anyone who'll listen* "I'm feeling just fine now, thank you very much. I even went out in the car today for a 60 mile round trip! Frist time I've been out of the cabin in weeks! I'm like a dog when it comes to going for a ride! Wanna' go bye-bye? Oooo,

Hi Pan, love
I'm ba-ack! didja miss me? Were you under the weather? I scrolled through the conversation but didn't see any reference to you being cabin-bound. Or am I just confused as per usual?
I totally like the dog reference... woof! So, if I show up at your door, pet you real nice, you'll come out for a ride with me? Then we could discuss other dog-like habits you might like to exhibit. I've got lots and lots of ideas around that theme. (Rubbing you behind your ear.)
Please hold anything against me EXCEPT my own words. I cannot imagine anything you would think of holding aganst me that I wouldn't enjoy.
I still like the idea that came up a while back of you doing ANYTHING for your country. We could play G.I.Jane. I'm really into role playing.
So, how the heck are ya anyway?

Hi Moondancer
Gosh, sweetie. I would love to flirt with you, and I'm not necessarily a one-woman-at-a-time guy, either, if you get my drift. And the more outrageous the better, too! However, Pan IS my first and best girl, here. I get the feeling that she's a little conservative, at least in a public forum, and I'm holding out hope against hope that she'll break down and meet me, sometime, if only to satisfy her curiousity.
Never give up the ship!

Pan, darling, sweetheart, cyber-lover, light of my life, sweetness of my drink...
The Wine of Life keeps oozing drop by drop,
The Leaves of Life keep falling one by one.
A Book of Verses underneath the Bough,
A Jug of Wine, a Loaf of Bread - and Thou
Beside me singing in the Wilderness (i.e., Ohio)
Oh, Wilderness were Paradise enow!
Some for the Glories of This World; and some
Sigh for the Prophet's Paradise to come;
Ah, take the Cash, and let the Credit go,
Nor heed the rumble of a Distant Drum!
There was the Door to which I found no Key (your heart);
There was the Veil through which I might not see (the Internet):
Some little talk awhile of ME and THEE
There was - and then no more of THEE and ME.
Then to the Lip of this poor earthen Urn
I leaned, the Secret of my Life to learn;
And Lip to Lip it murmured - "While you live,
"Drink! - for, once dead, you never shall return."
And if the Wine you drink, the Lip you press,
End in what All begins and ends in - Yes (say it, Yes);
Think then you are today what yesterday
You were - tomorrow you shall not be less.
Of threats of Hell and Hopes of Paradise
One thing at least is certain - this life flies;
One thing is certain and the rest is Lies;
The Flower that once has blown forever dies.
And so, sweetness,
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all your tears wash out a Word of it.
Your most ardent and persistent admirer, with humble apologies to Omar Khayyam (who has past behind the veil),
Pete

"Eeww, brother!"
"Pete are you going to wax poetic from now on? If so, please be careful! I mean just look what happened to Khayyam...he's dead!"
"As per what you'd have held against you, should you knock on the door...it would be a gun. I usually answer the door with at the very least a 38. If you try to "pet" me, I'm afraid you'd find yourself a bit short handed...Belle dosen't like anybody to touch me. I've been calling dobemen my best birth control for many years now. And, yes I did miss you. I thought you wern't coming back, so I started a new club. It's called: The Society For Born Again Virgins. I've several thousand members already! I don't guess you'd care to join?" Love all around~Pan

Pete,
You may be a philandering cad, but you sure do write lovely poetry to the object of your desires. (Walter shuffles off, hides his surly demeanour from Pete, wants to appear gracious when in fact that is the furthest thing from his mind. Goes looking for a book of poems that he can use to impress Pandora and Moondancer with).
Walter.

Good Morning Pandora, Walter, Pete.
That poetry was really amazing, enough to turn the head of the most reluctant lover, but it wasn't aimed at me so my opinion doesn't count. Except that Walter, even a flirtatious strumpet like myself knows the value of a man that is there tomorrow and the next day and the next day. You don't have to go searching for poetry, I know you have diamonds in you, they don't always have to sparkle to show their presents.
I have some Irish music playing, come put you head together with mine and we can walk amongst the Celtic runes and dream of the life that is going on around us. That way we can really experience history as it should be experienced in the day to day activity of life.
Holding out my arms for my friends to come in to them.
Huggs and kisses all around

Pete Posted Oct 3, 2000
Hi Bob!!
Yes, I am always and forever happy ...even if the object of my desires disparages poetry and rebuffs me with threats of guns and dogs. Geez O'Man!! I'll tell ya, if Pan is playing hard to get, I'd hate to be the one someone who she really doesn't like! Do you think she's just been spending too much time in the wilds of Ohio?
How are you doing?
I think that this remaining group here all realizes that generalizations - while useful, generally speaking - don't have a place in a discussion of relationships. I still believe that in any large group dynamics where there is contention, there is only one side to be on: mine and thine. Us against the world. And Us means you and me, Pan, Moondancer, Walter (even if he is jealous of me)... our own little global microcosm.
Born-again-virgins? Actually I rather like that. I think I'll start a little group called Re-deflowerers-of-born-again-virgins. Want to join?
Pax y'all... and a special soft little pinch on the bum of Moondancer

Ouch!
Pete if you pinch me I will poke you in the ribs and run around laughing.
What is the time limit to be a born-again-virgin. Is 24 hours long enough, I'm not sure if I can make it into Pandoras club, hahahaha but I might join yours Pete. I am sure Re-deflowering is lots of fun
Huggs and kisses to every one and another poke in the ribs to Pete

"24 hours? Well, I guess we must expect a relapse from time to time!"
"And Pete, I can't think of anyone I don't like."
"Water, you need not steal another's words to impress anyone. The sweet things you come up with, all your own, are poetic enough."
"Bob, do tell, what have you been up to?"

*Grin* Hard to get is ok.... You gotta know you're dealing with an optimist. To me "Hard to get" translates to "getable."
The merely difficult I can deal with easily, the impossible just takes a little longer.
