Hey there big boy...see, there was a reason you started your project now ! EXCUSE my typing...doing this w/my left hand whilst my right hand holds an ice pack on my tooth...celery string -vs-tooth. The DDS said,"Ah, it outta' feel better in a couple days!"
I'd like to punch her in the eye & say the same thing to her. I have tp speak clearly each night to my clients! RRRRRR! One of those days!
How do you know when I'm on here?
I was standing in the Vets office when you came in!!!!! LOL!!!
GO to:
http://www.h2g2.com/U11235
That's my space. When you schroll down my page you'll see where I just posted a message at the Pub & you could come into the Pub...best place to see me . At the moment I have taken Greebo a human/cat to the Vet's, as she has a problem. Once that's taken care of...it's back to my pitchers of martinis by the fireplace in the Pub. I gave them 50 thousand virtual dollars...
so, if I'm not there have a few on me & wait around anything worth waiting for is worth having
We can't really talk...just like here....but ther'es touching Please don't get carried away...I've already been in enough trouble w/h2g2...so play nice. We can drive those love starved ladies a lovely shade of green. It'll be a blast...trust me *evil grin*
That's how you make an evil grin
THE VILLA DE LA VAVOOM is a retirement Village for women. THERE are men who run shoppes, etc. maybe you'd like to be my pool boy? HEE-HEE! It's a virtual Villa where we basically party & role play. This has never been done before so... maybe something interesting will come of it?
I've got to get to bed & get up at 12am to work.....so Ado for now, Sweet Pete! *tender kiss* ~Pandy

Hi Sweetheart
I know when you're online ... there's a button on the task bar called "Who's Online." LOL
I'd love to chat real time with you sometime; do you have instant messaging? I use Yahoo! There's also another way we could chat using internet relay chat (IRC). Do you ever use it?
Anyway, I would love to play with you I don't know about being your pool boy, but I could certainly help you remove celery strings from your teeth in some creative, interesting and, I think, fun ways. *WEG!* And if I couldn't make it feel better right away, at least I could take your mind wayyyyyyyyy off it.
So, I was in the right place at the right time, huh? Then how did we miss each other? Talk to you later, honey *soft lingering kiss*

Hi again, Sweetie
I clicked on that address in your last posting and it took me somewhere .... was that your space? Do you have multiple spaces? Are you multidemensional or just multitasking?
I am multidimensional and I'm wondering if everyone is, or just some of us. I've only just discovered that I'm multidimensional and I haven't figured it all out yet, let alone how to be in two places at the same time. Maybe you can't... maybe you can only be in two places at two different times. Maybe I'm not even really multidimensional but just had an insight into multidimensionality, but everything points strongly toward at least some of us being multidimensional. Maybe it's the next major paradigm shift along the evolutionary ladder, although I don't think so. Evidence points to multidimensional personalities (MP's) having existed for probably thousands of years.
So, to relate MP's to relationships (the subject of this conversation thread), the question is: can a multidimensional personality have a relationship with himself? And would it be as good for him as it would be for him?
(I think I really need the Y to open again so I can back to working out.)
Regards, love, and chocolate kisses to all, especially you, Pan, my cute little infatuation

Hi Pete, guess I'll need to turn on my "show ballons" function on Mac in order to see when someone's on. I'm still in the classic blue Goo...are you in the new format?
I'll be busy for the next day os so. I'm setting up a Web Site. It's taking a bit more time than I'd like, but I'll be glad whe I have it!
I don't have anyway of speaking to anyone other than how we post now. My friend in England calls via the computer, for free. But there's nothing I've found that will support Macs at the moment.
I'm not sure if it's this week or next, my friend Sue will be coming to my cabin for a visit. She's been making me crazy as of late. I'm
THE only friend she has...& for good reason! I'd tell her to "hit the bricks" if she weren't so darned needy! Talk about relationships!
She's been married 11 years & never had marital relations w/her
husband!!!! But she's too lazy to wok & support herself! Drives me up a wall! She'd been sleeping on the sofa all these years!!!!
Last month I finally convinced her to buy a bed & get herself into a bedroom! She's so surprised that her back has stopped hurting her! Ahhhhh!!! Wish I had something to kick! And she
is just 40 miles away ATM staying at her mom's, she'll call the day before to say she's on her way here for a visit! I bought her a bathing suit-but she won't swim. So, I loose time in the pool when she's here. I've tried to get her to seek mental health advise....but she'd rather complain. I don't know what to do w/her!
I've tried to set her up with several of my men friends-but they'll have nothing to do w/her!!! Want a date with a woman who hasn't had sex in 12 years? (sorry-couldn't resist)
Just look up the crossed Pourposes Pub (or however they'er spelling it) That's where you'll find me. As I've said I'll be busy in RL for 'at least' the next couple days. I shall miss you terribly!!! I will come back on Thursday-for sure at the Pub & I'll check here to see if you're about. So, until then-here's a kiss that would last ANY normal man weeks so, hopefully it will keep you for a few days...OOOOOOOOOOOOOO ~Love, Pandy

Shoot! Shoot! and Shoot! I just missed you again! I can't believe it! We're ALMOST on the same schedule, Sweetheart.
I know you're not online 'cause you don't show in the Who's Online list. *sigh*
Oh well, if building a Web page is more fun than flirting with me, so be it. My fragile male ego will recover, I suppose.
Hmmm... and you're trying to foist me off on someone else, too. Guess what I'm reading into these subliminal messages?
Ok, lets' think about this: hasn't had sex in 12 years??? I must ask: what does she look like?? Let's see: conservative normal frequency of orgasm, 2 to 3 times a week, times 52 weeks, times 12 years... *calculate, calculate, run out of fingers, get the spreadsheet* WOW! She's between 1200 and 2000 orgasms behind!! I'm good, but holy vibrators, battery-girl!! Even if I were the EverReady bunny with his batteries in backwards, I couldn't make up that kind of ground!
Well, ok, Sweetie...give a thought my way occasionally during the next few days, and I'll talk atcha later!
*brushing your lips lightly with mine* Mmmmmmmmmm

as an experienced freeloader/scrounger I love it when girlfriends pay. Alot of it, with men who hate it, is that it offends their machismo. That's what I think, anyway.

Hi Pete,
If you and Pandora want to communicate in real time why don't you use Yahoo chat. I find the one frustrating thing about this site is the no real time chat. Or the other alternative is to get your free internet phone calls. I can give you the addresses, I'm not sure if I can get it to work from Australia, but apparently it works for US Canada and China. Try www.mediaring.com and www.dialapad.com lots of luck

Pete Posted Sep 12, 2000
I won't admit to being a freeloader/scrounger, however, having someone else pick up the check - anyone, girlfriend, male friend, relative, or business associate - does appeal to my Scottish heritage. On the other hand, I won't sit there and wait for someone else to pick it up. When it's time to go, I reach for the check if someone else hasn't already.
In fact, having a lot of experience myself, there IS a protocol. The normal protocol is, if you paid last time, it's my turn to pay this time. The bottom of the protocol list is splitting a check. Have you ever been out with someone who wants to figure out everyone's portion according to the menu prices or how many of what type of drink they've had? Forget the price list.
Then, if someone consistently abuses the relative price thing, then make sure to have desert and a bottle of wine on them next time. It all works out in the long run as long as you hang with reasonable people.
Good call, though, Beethoven. You take it out of the realm of the battle of the sexes, which is entirely appropriate. The fact is, if someone treats other people like members of a group, they're not worth hanging with.

Hey Moondancer How ya goin', mate?
I have Yahoo chat and I like it and I suggested it to Pandora. (Hint, Pan) I agree, the lack of real time chat here is disconcerting, except that I find I probably spend less time here than if I were chatting with someone interactively.
Thanks for the info on internet phone calls. I'll check 'em out.
I think Pan feels safer if she can keep me at a distance. LOL Well, we'll just see about that!
You going to the Olympics? The guy next to me at work is an Aussie.

Oh yeah, I don't wanna sound like someone who has moths fly out of his wallet. When i've got money, my mates know i'm good for a drink. I just never have money, not my fault. Know what you mean about the group thing, Pete. Nicely said.

Marvin [patron saint of cynicism] Posted Sep 12, 2000
I am all for the women's movement, and I do think that there are some things that women can do better than men (and I don't mean cooking and cleaning). However, it seems that all too often some women make a fuss over not getting their way because they are female, but turn around and hide behind their gender when the going gets tough. In other words, they want equal rights but not equal responsibility. Take the selective service for example (the US Draft Registration), women do not have to register for the Draft but they are allowed to hold public office. President Clinton has been criticized for being a Draft-dodger, but it a woman were elected president she would never have been drafted at all.
It all boils down to equal rights should mean equal responsibility.

Being in Melbourne we only get the soccer, I'm trying to get some tickets for the 1/4 final which should be good.
Pandora if you read this you can still keep what ever distance you want on yahoo.
Oh well if she is not interested I might find you on chat one evening .
I don't go into yahoo under this name.

Pete Posted Sep 13, 2000
This is a horribly sticky wicket, and you all may have noticed that I've tried to stay away from the broad social and economic issues and focus on the interaction between individuals regardless of their gender persuasion. But, you bring up some good points, Marvin, and have inspired me to try some serious discussion.
In the selective service thing, it seems to me, too, that women ought to have to register, to be fair. And, on the surface, equal rights for equal responsibility is eminently fair-minded. Where it all falls apart is down on the case-by-case level. Think about it, what is this thing we call equality? Is it to receive fair treatment relative to our ability? Or is it to receive fair treatment relative to our potential? Or is it to receive fair treatment regardless of anything? Actually, the answer is “all of the above,” but under different circumstances. If you try to balance equality across a whole group or class or society, it means that – on average - some people are going to get more and some are going to get less. So, nowhere, no way, no when is everyone going to be treated completely fairly if we approach equality on a group basis.
As far as opportunity is concerned, people don’t receive exactly the same treatment because people simply aren’t all equal. People aren’t objective about their own abilities, and people aren’t completely objective about how they judge others – even if they wanted to be. You might think that in sports, where everything is measured down to the gnat’s knees, fairness would be easier to determine and distribute. Mia Hamm can kick a football through a goal from 53 yards out (or was it 57?). Should she be playing in the NFL? Who knows? She has the ability as far as kicking goes. But does she have the potential to do that under pressure of huge bodies crashing around her? And if she gets nailed, then what? Can she withstand the punishment? Look at the NBA. Blacks comprise about 29% of the population. Does that mean that they should be limited to 29% representation in the NBA? Remember the history of the negro base ball leagues. Anyone who’s played organized sports knows that fairness isn’t always the basis for making it or not.
The fact is that women at the top of a sports game don’t compete equally with men, but through the ranks, many do. Women at the top of their sales or economic game can compete, and many do and succeed. No one should receive less than fair treatment, nor should they receive more. And if they do, then they should have redress.
Jeez. Now I’m more confused than when I started. I should have learned by now to just stick with what I’m good at, like flirting with Pan Hurry back, sweetie, and save me from myself!

Pandora Posted Sep 14, 2000
Er, huh? LOL!!! The more I read the more confused I became!
(last check my I.Q. was 185...so, it may not be me...LOL)
Just for the record...I tried to join the Navy & the Air Force...flat feet!!!! RRR! I didn't know my feet were flat!?! And it never stopped me from hiking, Mt. climbing & winning a trophy for marksmanship! I also was team Capt. for many years for two paintball teams! (capture the flag) I was usually the only woman all week-end running around with all those sweaty men! Too bad a bit of dirt & pain kept the rest of the gals home...too bad for THEM
I feel strongly that ALL American's who are able...must be held responsible for keeping our Country safe...once tests are given, then they can be placed in the proper post. If a woman can't run, carry or shoot a gun, I'm sure she can type or file!!!! There are many aspects to the Armed Services & I totally resent being rejected!!! I would have gone...done ANYthing I was ordered to do! And should the draft come back, let's hope THIS time females are included!!!! SO THERE!!!
Pete, sweet....my company's gone home & I'm back. I still haven't gotten my Web Site up & running....I'm about to go insane
with all the do's & don'ts Oh well, I understand being insane can be quite fun!!!!! I'm also working on getting MSN...but Mac seems to have trouble, or it's me having trouble with Mac! I don't spend enough time on the 'puter to know what I'm doing YET!!!!!! Time will tell. Has the Y opened yet? Have you gotten a chance to kick around some helpless old bag? Perhaps I'll take Martial Arts..then I won't be SO afraid of you ~XOX~Pan

Hi Pansy
Yeah, that was pretty tough reading wasn't it? I actually typed it in MS Word and pasted it in the post, and all those weird characters came in with it which didn't help the readability any. Well, someone once said that noone should be able to write more clearly than they think... so....
Now... I just want to clarify something you said. You said you'd do ANYthing you were ordered to do in the military? Sounds good to me How about we play GI Joe and GI Jane when we meet?
Yes, the Y is open again and I'm happier although I missed two days this week cause of a business trip to Boston, and I'm going to miss all of next week cause of a trip to Detroit and a wedding Sat. Then I'm off to San Francisco that Sunday. I'm going to take work out clothes with me to Detroit next week... can't lay off for that long.
Yes! Take some martial arts. I think you'd really like it. And then we could spar in between playing army
The draft isn't in effect (let's hope to God it never is again), but men have to register with the selective service when they turn 18. Women don't. That's what Marvin was talking about. I really can understand women wanting to enlist. My daughter really wanted to go the Air Force Academy (for a while anyway; she took flying lessons and joined the Air Guard (?) a sort of air force oriented scouting group). And if a woman can do whatever a man can (and there are women out there who can) then they should be allowed. It's just bad when the bar is lowered to provide access to people who really don't meet the standard qualifications.
So... ANYthing, eh? *Wicked Evil Grin*

Gooday Pandora,
Sweetheart, this Pete character sounds like he is just a philandering cad whose intentions are anything but honourable. Much safer to dally with us fair dinkum types who do not toy with a gal's affection. Take care two Feathers,
Walter.

Hi Pandora,
I would watch that Walter, he is a bit inclined to flirt outrageously, I have told him I do not understand why a lovely lady like your self spends time dallying with him, I suppose it is your good heart. Thank you for noting Ian Thorp's win. He intends on showing his big feet to a lot more swimmers in the next couple of days.
Ha Walter,
If you are there, how are you, we won't tell them what happens next will we
