No problem. It'll take me a day or so to sort it out (it's my daughter's 6th birthday today, so I'll be a bit busy this evening), but be patient...

As for Twiggy - yes, nice eyes, nice smile, but she's just so... well... twiggy! I prefer women with a bit more meat on them. More Loggy, than Twiggy...

I managed to find Girls Girls Girls & ...Champagne somewhere slightly dodgy. Loving hearing them again (I didn't realise Sailor were actually really good - I thought it was just my nostalgia kicking in).

Who were Sailor? I seem to recall that they were real musicians in disguise...

Yes I remember the songs (he embarrassingly admitted) but I was wondering who the actual personnel behind them were. IIRC the answer is quite surprising...

Really? I just remeber the dodgy sailor/pirate/docker costumes & makeup from the album sleeve.

My mother really does have a lot to answer for...

There's this: http://www.sailor-marinero.com/band_members.htm

but there might have been a Milli Vanilli thing going on.

I used to have a crush on the piano player - Henri I think. I'm not clicking that link, I don't want my childhood dreams crushed

Right now I'm listening to ...Champagne again. It's very, very good.

I've also got Girls Girls Girls but, alas, no Coconut.

Cor, this is great stuff.

Back to the subject at hand...

"Nutrisse means 'nourish'!" so says bimbo-whose-name-I-forget, whilst promoting hair dye.

No it doesn't. "Nourish" means "nourish". "Nutrisse" means "made-up word".

Ah, RF bearing the shield of topicality against the scourge of topic drift!

The 'They're Gonna' Taste Great' Frosties ad is still inflicting its menace upon the nation, despite the Weebl pithtake.

Blues Shark - For people who like this sort of thing, then this is just the sort of thing they'll like

Interesting.

Not having paid any great attention to the adverts (M&S womens clothing being of no interest to me) I had assumed, owing to it's overwhelmingly similar style, sound and arrangement that the music was some strange re-mix of Virginia Plain by the Lounge Lizard and his merry bunch.

The Sailor revival, it appears ends here... smiley - winkeye

There be nuthin wrang wi a bit o Sailor, me arties!

Right, that's quite enough of the crap accent.

Anyway, I was watching TV this evening, and I saw an ad that left me going smiley - huh - and suddenly remembered what this thread is all about!

I believe it is for a new Fiat 4x4 car. The first image I remember in this ad was a man holding up a baby, which promptly pees on him. The last image was of him going diving in a very large muddy puddle, and bringing up a cuddly toy. Somewhere in the ad was a car, but I don't think it was important. I have absolutely no idea what the connection is between pee, car and muddy puddle is.

Other than advertising stupidity!

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

The advert that annoys me at the moment is for DNAge cream by some cosmetics company or other... apparently it helps protect your DNA from cell damage. Just a shame that DNA isn't a type of cell.
