I have exactly the same problem Malabrista. If you are in the UK then Next have a load of great tops with collars (not exactly shirts as no buttons but perfect for work/under s suit/tolook smart) that have a healthy dose of soemthing stretchy in them. For once I have a range of tops (I bought one in every colour the had ) that fit around my torso but still accommodate 'the girls' without gaping or looking slutty.

I was in the supermarket yesterday and saw on the shelf that the National Enquirer had a headline with "Skinny or curvy, male readers decide". I had a look inside, and they had some pictures of a few celebs and something saying that when asked 89% of men preferred curvy women. Though they did not specify how curvy curvy is or how skinny skinny is.

Or how honest said celebs are or where they are from...

No, it was male readers they had asked not celebs.

Look, we've been through this. Most women, even most slim women, have curves and curves look nice and soft and feminine.

If you ask a guy if he likes curves he's therefore unlikely to realise you're really asking if he has a chubby fetish.

Go to you local newsstand and buy a copy of Vogue and a copy of a top shelf mag. Then compare the women in those two and draw your own conclusions.

"Curvy" is often a pseudonym for "chubby." Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Also, Xan, you're right! When a guy's with his GF he will say he prefers skinny girls. It only makes sense. Like, my brother used to say he didn't really care about a girl's looks, but now he's serious about a girl and he's not saying that anymore...

Can't expect these surveys to starte quoting BMIs, now can you? I think it's all in the proportions, there are bits guys certainly seem to like HUGE...
