Dea.. - call me Mrs B!

No idea, I just remember the stuff from when I was little. TV seemed much better in the 70's and 80's

We always watched smiley - doctor Who on a Saturday (from behind the settee of course) and then there would be something cringeworthy like The Val Doonican Show or The Cilla Black Show or (most un-pc) The Black and White Minstrel Show!! I think Dixon of Dock Green was on Saturdays as well and my dad always always watched Grandstand from start to finish smiley - yawn

pffffft

Croc,

And he was the campest lizard this side of Eddie Izzards pet Iguana.

Re Dusty Bin. I always found the puzzles/clues unbeleivably hard. They would be given, say, a shoe from a play about Cinderella, and that would somehow cryptically lead them to a prize of a fridge freezer and twelve months supply of lime juice. And, a seemingly obvious boob prize of an empty tin can, donated by Bernard Cribbens, would actually be the Star Prize of a Fiat Panda.

Liked Orville, hated Cuddles. he had a blue face and no self respecting ape should have a blue face! And he was ever so slightly evil to Orville as well!
