That explains why you may not have had those programmes, Deakie. I live in Swindon (although I was born in Inverness and lived on Skye until I was about 3)

Minipops were pre teens (mainly girls) dressing up as popstars and singing, these days anyone suggesting something like this will get locked up and put on the sex offenders register
