Christopher Walken wasn't exactly scary in that
most of his roles I'd agree with you RF

BBC's controversial "documentary" Ghostwatch gets me behind the sofa everytime... particularly the bits where you catch glimpses of Pipes.

That was a cracking programme. I wonder if they'll ever repeat it.

Probably not... it hasn't aged particularly well, but it is still as scary as ever! I saw it last week with some friends on DVD... well worth investing.

Just checked it out on Amazon. £19 seems a bit excessive.

The BBC probably won't repeat it as it got a bit embarrassed over all the fuss. The DVD release isn't even a BBC Worldwide release.

Because one bloke committed suicide and several other people were diagnosed with post-traumatic stress...
Just a guess but that might have something to do with it.

Did you people see it when it aired?
I'd never heard of it before, but checked it out now on IMDb. Seems to have had quite an effect on the viewers.
I would have dropped dead of fright...

Used to have it on video for many years until the tape wore out. It was very, very effective TV, and the fact it starred 'cosy' celebrities such as Parkinson and Sarah Greene made it all the more unpredictable. A definite highlight for BBC TV.
