Apparition was the account he was using at the time I think.

Doesn't seem to be much on App's account either U180630
Unless he's deleted some...

I also have this feeling that the thread might have been about something else in which this got mentioned...
Becuase both sides were effectively stlaking each other though there were no real private threads so it could be anywhere...

That was some pretty neat detective work, if I say so myself.

You do realise that post 1 refers to an Ask thread about said topic, that we haven't found yet?

Not true!!!!! See my post in this thread, #354, made 5 weeks ago. I quote from that Ask thread you are claiming we haven't found and posted the link to it. Harumph.

Just for reference: <./>MA724267?show=25&type=2&skin=alabaster</.>
In alabaster, the list of a person's Guide Entries (MA = member's articles, I think) includes a reference to the article that is a person's PS. In Bain's case, that's A2617229.
Bring that down one digit at a time until you get to another Guide Entry (not every number is a Guide Entry). That's the Get Writing Entry A2617210. The forum for that is F1811595. Voila!

Where's that thread...?
I'm looking for a thread from 2006. It's most likely in Ask. It was what prompted an entry called "Talking Dirty - a Modern Sexual Lexicon" that was edited by the CAC- continuum. The entry has been removed at some point for breaking the house rules.

I hope my memory is right, and there was a thread in Ask about it. I can't remember if it was started intentionally or if it just evolved.
Where's that thread...?
There's a thread about the entry here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F75027?thread=7113436
Where's that thread...?
Close, but I'm not sure that's it. That thread was started a month after the entry was published.
Where's that thread...?
I found it, but I don't think I should post the link because if the entry was removed then they might take the thread away too Do they remove whole threads?
If anyone wants it, ask me in an obscure corner somewhere.

New question
A discussion has started in Ask about comparison between Discworld and various soaps. (As an expat it's all above my head) But now they've gone on to discuss who would be suitable for what part. That's all been done before. I thought it was in Misc Chat but can't find it there - nor can I find it in my own conversations. Can anyone help?
