I do see what you mean Elly, I often feel like that myself. But I always feel it's the kind of victory I wish I hadn't won.

OK. Managed to persuade a 2 year old girl who has a strict aversion to potties to sit on said abomination and count to 10 twice. Well, I counted once, then it was:
Me - 1...2....3...4...5...6....
Her -"7,8,9,10!" (with a very miserable, anxious tone) and jumps off the potty.
There were no tears or tantrums, before, after or during the traumatic event.

Today's little victory: fixing my stupid messenger webcam thingy-mabob before my mum fixed hers, then sitting there smugly, saying "Well, I can hear you, but not see you!" until she did fix it in the end.
